I’m laser focused with my role at James Brehm & Associates as Senior Advisor and Brand Ambassador to work with, and discover new opportunities in Israel’s IoT (Internet of Things) ecosystem.

During the Tel Aviv Startup Challenge, I captured some video highlighting the exhibitors, the vibe on the show floor and two companies that caught my eye.

I had a chance to visit with Shlomy Ashkenazi, CEO and Co-Founder of GreenQ.

I knew Shlomy from two previous accelerator programs, where I’ve mentored at EcoMotion and HAC – Herzliya Accelerator Center.  It was great to see the progress Shlomy is making by bringing IoT to garbage trucks; something he calls IoG – the Internet of Garbage!

GreenQ’s smart waste collection system is serious business and can help cities more effectively manage waste collection, reduce costs, emissions, and improve citizen satisfaction.

Meet Oron Branitzky, whose company Wiseye has a platform to make retail shelves smarter.  They do this by embedding sensors into a shelving platform that collects light sensor values and transmits via Wi-Fi  to the cloud.

If you are part of the IoT ecosystem in Israel and we have not met, reach out to me – and let’s connect.
