Ismail Haniyeh: Pragmatic politician or terror chief?
We are witnessing another shocking wave of false narratives and biased media. Only hours after the announced death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, we are already rubbing our eyes as we read world news headlines. BBC, CNN, ABC, SKY News, and nearly all other media outlets described Haniyeh as a legit political leader, with no word about his active role as the leader of a terrorist organization responsible for the murder, rape, and kidnapping of hundreds of innocent people. Reading these articles, you get the sense that Haniyah was a righteous leader who deeply cared for his fellow Palestinian people and was a moderate voice in these troubled times. Distinguished journalists go on to explain that his death is likely to increase the violence in the region as he was the “pragmatic face” of Hamas and had a critical role in the hostage deal negotiations.
There is nothing about his ongoing calls to destroy the State Of Israel. Not a single word about his role in the Hamas massacre on the 7th of October. There is nothing about his luxurious lifestyle, living at the Four Seasons Hotel and flying private jets. Not a single word on his ongoing corruption and how he stole billions of dollars from the Palestinian people. Who cares about the facts? Making Haniyeh sound like a freedom fighter serves the anti-Israel agenda well. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Western college students wearing Che Guevara-style T-shirts with Haniyah’s portrait: “The student leader and social activist serving his people and fighting for world peace.”
In dark times like this, it is our duty to share the truth. The glorification of these terrible terrorists is an immediate danger not only for Israel but also for the USA and the entire free world. We must share the video of Haniyeh smiling as he watches Hamas terrorists butchering innocent Israeli civilians on October 7. We must share his own words calling for Jihad and the slaughtering of the Jews. It is our responsibility to share the facts about his corruption and ongoing stealing from the Palestinian people.
A little of the light repels much of the darkness.
