Valérie Robin Clayman completed her Master's Degree at the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies at the University of Ottawa (Canada). She also holds a Certificate in Women's Studies from the Simone de Beauvoir Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Concordia University in Montréal (Canada). Valérie’s MA thesis, “I’m Supposed to Relate to This? A Trans Woman on Issues of Identification with Trans Moving Images”, was published in 2016 and led to speaking engagements in Montréal, Toronto, Vermont, Arizona, and Germany.
