Israel is headed in a positive direction — inside and outside

In the last number of years, Israel has experienced extremes on both end of the spectrum, from the devastating October 7, to the defeat of Israel’s enemies. There’s still more work to be done, but with Israel‘s enemies strongly degraded, the prospects look very good.

Within Israel there was at first tremendous unity after October 7, but now there’s a lot of inner fighting. But let’s not mistake the inner fighting for more than what it is. There may be differences of opinion, but the unity right after October 7 shows that deep down Jews care for one another.

There is now a strong feeling among the majority of Israelis, that it’s too dangerous to give away land. This is a very positive development. And in this regard the future looks bright. By not giving away any land, Israel is focussed on strongly defending its borders and keeping the country secure.

There is still infighting about other issues, and there is certainly infighting about who should have power, since everybody would like to have power. But when push comes to shove, it’s reminiscent of the traditional Jewish greeting where one Jew says “Sholom Aleichem” (peace to you) and the other Jew answers the opposite, “Aleichem Sholom” (to you peace). Even though they differ, they’re both wishing each other peace.

In the book of Daniel chapter 7, it’s mentioned four times that the high holy ones — those who are dedicated to higher ideals — will rule forever. Israel now is a superpower in the Middle East. And there has been a tremendous awakening among the Jewish people to their roots and to their G-d.

The future looks bright. Jews are focused and tuned in to what is true and important. The era of Moshiach and redemption seems so close. May it happen now.
