Israel’s Silent War Against Palestinian Terror.

Jenin: 2nd September 2024.

The IDF operation in Jenin is entering its fifth day. The nature and duration of the activity are creating a cumulative effect on the local residents and the towns terrorists. Voices are being heard that were not heard before.
According to Palestinian channels, the IDF is besieging Jenin, surrounding its hospitals, and moving from one area to another, conducting counterterrorism operations.

The Palestinians claim there is a shortage of electricity, water, and communication in Jenin, especially in the Jenin refugee camp and the eastern neighborhood where the terrorist live and hide, and there is unprecedented destruction of infrastructure in the area where the Jenin terrorist operate from.

A media channel used by Jenin terrorists and Islamic Jihad operatives in particular said, “If Jenin falls, there will be no support for the West Bank after today, and all the cities and villages of the West Bank will await their turn in destruction and ruin. The West Bank is not waking up to a Jenin victory despite the four days of fighting that have passed. Jenin will not be able to defend other areas in the West Bank due to the current conditions. If you do not act for Jenin’s victory, do not expect the situation to be good for you tomorrow.

Why are you waiting, no one knows. Why are you standing aside and continuing to live normal lives? Why this silence? A person loves to see his brother standing by his side and not standing and looking at him from the side, even if he is strong…”

This is a cry for help from the most militant group in Jenin. They are crying out for help from other terror groups operating under the Palestinian Authority umbrella as the IDF continues to degrade them.

The IDF is doing what the PA was contracted to do under the Oslo Accords, but isn’t.

As in Gaza, the issue of “steadfastness” (الصمود) is an important and critical element in Palestinian terror ideology. Patience, duration, thoroughness are elements that Palestinan terror groups need to survive.

They are also the elements that the IDF has adopted in its silent operation in Jenin as it breakshe enemy’s spirit.

This element of IDF counter-terrorism is also taking place in Tulkam, another Palestinian terror ulcer located by the center of Israel.

Bear this silent terror front in mind when discussing the existential threat to Israel that has exploded in Israel’s face since 7/10.
