Jews Who Oppose Israel: The Bitterest Betrayal

Let’s talk about something most people are too afraid to say out loud: Jews who oppose Israel.

Loving Israel in today’s world is a difficult and lonely position. The loudest voices are the ones against it, and human nature being what it is—most people follow the herd. And right now, the herd is screaming “Free Palestine,” burning Israeli flags, and swallowing media-fed lies without question.

The war in Gaza dominates global headlines, but where is the outrage over Syria? Yemen? Nigeria? Sudan? Tibet? Nobody cares. Only Israel is endlessly scrutinized. Why? Because hating Israel has become fashionable. It’s the easy way to look “woke,” “progressive,” or “morally righteous.” But it’s not moral. It’s cowardice dressed up as virtue.

The people with even a shred of honesty, who’ve looked beyond the headlines, know what Israel has contributed to the world—technology, medicine, democracy in the Middle East. And they know what it’s up against: a culture raised, not just politically, but religiously and socially, to hate Jews and dream of Israel’s destruction.

That hatred is understandable—tragic, but understandable—when it comes from Arab societies. From birth, they’re marinated in lies, antisemitism, and martyrdom. Most of them have never even met a Jew. They live in echo chambers of hate. It’s not their fault entirely—it’s brainwashing.

But when Jews themselves join in the hate parade? That is where the blood boils. That is betrayal.

Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), IfNotNow, Neturei Karta—call them what you will. These groups masquerade as Jewish, but what they do is spit on the graves of those who died for Israel, and they slap Holocaust survivors in the face. They support the Palestinian cause, BDS, and even side with Hamas by downplaying its barbarity. Let’s not sugarcoat it: they are traitors.

October 7th was not a misunderstanding. It was not “resistance.” It was a full-blown massacre. Babies were beheaded. Women raped. Civilians burned alive. Jews, Arabs, Christians, foreigners—it didn’t matter. The only crime was being on Israeli soil. Even left-leaning kibbutzniks who were helping Palestinians got slaughtered.

And still, after this nightmare, some Jews side with the enemy. How? Why? There is no explanation except self-hate, delusion, or a mental illness. You can’t call yourself a Jew while supporting those who want all Jews dead. That’s not just hypocrisy. It’s treason.

Yes, treason. In war, aiding the enemy, spreading their propaganda, undermining your country’s morale and legitimacy—these are treasonous acts. In many countries, treason during war carries the death penalty. In Israel, we’re too soft. We let the enemy speak freely, even when they wear a kippah.

Here’s what treason looks like:

  • Defending Hamas or minimizing its crimes.
  • Promoting boycotts against your own people.
  • Accusing Israel of genocide while terrorists use babies as shields.
  • Demanding ceasefires that only benefit the enemy.
  • Fighting for a “Palestinian state” that would replace Israel with another Islamic theocracy.

Let’s stop pretending this is a matter of political opinion. It’s not. It’s a war for survival.

This isn’t just about politics. It’s about our future. Our right to exist. It’s about refusing to be slaughtered again while some of our own cheer it on from safe apartments in New York, Berlin, or Tel Aviv.

So, what can we do? We need to wake up. We need to speak truth—not sanitized, not filtered for Western palatability. The youth of Israel and Jews around the world must learn the real history—not the UN’s version, not the BBC’s version. They need to understand the massive cultural difference: Jews love life. Radical Islam glorifies death. That’s the harsh truth. We don’t need to pinkwash it. We need to teach it.

Jews of the world—stop apologizing. Stop cowering. Stop thinking that hating your own people makes you enlightened. It doesn’t. It makes you pathetic.

If you’re a Jew and you hate Israel, take a long, hard look in the mirror. You’re not fighting injustice. You’re fighting your own people—and in times of war, that makes you an enemy.

It’s time to pick a side. Because history has shown us one thing again and again: the world will never truly stand with the Jews unless the Jews stand with themselves

About the Author
CEO of Time to Stand Up for Israel, a nonprofit organization with a powerful mission: to support Israel and amplify its voice around the world. With over 200,000 followers across various social media platforms, our community is united by a shared love for Israel and a deep commitment to her future. My journey as an advocate for Israel began early. When I was 11 years old, my father was deployed to the Middle East through his work with UNTSO. I had the unique experience of living in both Syria and Israel, and from a young age, I witnessed firsthand the contrast in cultures and realities. That experience shaped me profoundly. Returning to the Netherlands, I quickly became aware of the growing wave of anti-Israel sentiment — and I knew I had to speak out. Ever since, I’ve been a fierce and unapologetic supporter of Israel. I’m not religious, but my belief is clear and unwavering: Israel has the right to exist, and Israel has the duty to defend herself. My passion is rooted in truth, love, and justice. I’m a true Zionist at heart. From my first breath to my last, I will stand up for Israel.
