Just one Shana tova

To get right to the point — we are about to start a new year in the Hebrew calendar, and I am asking “just one” member of the present coalition led by Bibi to announce that he or she has stopped supporting the present government and will vote for new elections on the return of the Knesset.

Why “just one” — because even one would be a miracle! And why one because that would show that at least one person in the present coalition has finally listened to their conscience!

I was in the States during the time of the Vietnam War and at some point the Senators and Representatives finally listened to their consciences or the consciences of their college-aged children and those politicians changed American policy.

After two or more years of what has been a process of destruction of the State of Israel and the loss of lives of hostages and soldiers just to maintain the present government, it is time for at least one and hopefully more members of the coalition and government to listen to their consciences. We saw the pictures of two of our hostages more than two months ago-and how many of us thought at the time -how will they survive another few weeks-well the “another” few weeks has passed -and our government has done nothing to bring them. If we President Trump’s statements pretty soon there will be no one to bring home!

And yes I know about the hypocrisy of the Western World and the victory of the Hamas propaganda machine but that does not change the goal -to bring back our hostages alive!

And SHANA TOVA to anyone reading this article and to all of the people of Israel-especially the hostages and our soldiers!!
