Listen
Let me tell you a story.
About a world that found itself.
About a nation that never gave up.
Let me tell you a few words, heart piercing words, comforting words.
“Sweet in their lifetime; and in their deaths, did not part.” (From the Sabbath prayers, before Musaf.)
Let me tell you about a time of laughter and kindness and goodness and peace and tranquility and comfort.
Let me tell you about a time of appreciation.
Hard to fathom? Difficult to understand and grasp it all? I know.
But let me tell you about it. Because we were there, and we will be there.
So let me tell you about a world of promise. And deep maturity. And wonders.
The wonders are the best part.
Let me tell you all this.
Let me comfort you.
Let the Almighty comfort us now, again, but with so many more miracles than ever.
Let the dead come alive.
And let us rejoice forever.
