For thousands of years, it must have sounded crazy that Jews would be the apple of G-d’s eye. The idea that this tiny decimated universally despised group scattered around the world would return en masse to Palestine to reshape their country must have seemed ridiculous. But here we are.
The Talmud predicts that in the end, G-d will slaughter the Angel of Death. How silly must that have looked for all the years past in which half of all people died within the first year and most people around 50? But we’re getting there. Get used to it.

Life doesn’t start at 40 and also doesn’t end at 70 anymore.
When we are 40 years on from now, no one might die from illness anymore. Cancer is to get immunotherapy that kills off all malignant cells (pronto). All infections may have been blocked from affecting us.
That’ll give us enough time to learn how to replace all aged body parts and stop all aging. It won’t be simple, but why would it be impossible?
Just one goal will be harder to reach: Not to kill ourselves anymore (fast suicide from despair or wish to stop the pain or slow suicide from drugs), and not to kill each other anymore (from unexpressed anger and useless greed). Because, what use will it be to be medically immortal but get murdered?
To stop overpopulation will be child’s play compared to stopping us from killing ourselves and others.
We need to start living more healthy, stop ruining and start reclaiming the environment, and cry when we need to, to get over our upsets (as babies do).
We need to get our priorities, ourselves, our relationships and our surroundings into shape. Those who do, may already be part of the first generation that’ll never die. We might get to Paradise on Earth.
It may happen to you if you dare. What do you have to lose?
Those who await Heavenly reward in an Afterlife, would you say that G-d cannot provide that on Earth? He’s waiting for our efforts to take effect.

Like most of his readers, he believes in being friendly, respectful, and loyal. However, if you think those are his absolute top priorities, you might end up disappointed. His first loyalty is to the truth. He agrees that in a post-truth world, that's irrelevant, but then this is for the record. He will try to stay within the limits of democratic and Jewish law, but he won't lie to support opinions or people when don't deserve that. Chronologically, his most influential teachers are his parents, Nico (natan) van Zuiden and Betty (beisye) Nieweg, Wim Kan, Mozart, Harvey Jackins, Marshal Rosenberg, Reb Shlomo Carlebach, and, lehavdil bein chayim lechayim, Rabbi Dr. Natan Lopes Cardozo, Rav Zev Leff, and Rav Meir Lubin. This short list doesn't mean to disrespect others who taught him a lot or a little. One of his rabbis calls him Mr. Innovation [Ish haChidushim]. Yet, his originalities seem to root deeply in traditional Judaism, though they may grow in unexpected directions. In fact, he claims he's modernizing nothing. Rather, mainly basing himself on the basic Hebrew Torah text, he tries to rediscover classical Jewish thought almost lost in thousands of years of stifling Gentile domination and Jewish assimilation. (He pleads for a close reading of the Torah instead of going by rough assumptions of what it would probably mean and before fleeing to Commentaries.) This, in all aspects of life, but prominently in the areas of Free Will, Activism, Homosexuality for men, and Redemption. *

He is a fetal survivor of the pharmaceutical industry (https://diethylstilbestrol.co.uk/studies/des-and-psychological-health/), born in 1953 to his parents who were Dutch-Jewish Holocaust survivors who met in the largest concentration camp in the Netherlands, Westerbork. He grew up a humble listener. It took him decades to become a speaker too, and decades more to admit to being a genius. But his humility was his to keep. And so was his honesty.
