Thirty years after the assassination of Álvaro Gómez Hurtado, apparently nothing has changed. The assassination attempt on Miguel Uribe Turbay is a new assassination that, despite having been thwarted, by divine grace or luck, if you will, was not so thanks to good security by the National Protection Unit, which is under the clutches of the non-dissolved M19 guerrillas. Likewise, many of the bodyguards today are former or even active members of the FARC or its dissidents. Likewise, the new underage hitmen are members of the “front line”, the same one that Gustavo Bolivar led during the “social explosion” -2019-2021-, and that later this government would reward them with the “Youth in Peace” program. The 14-year-old hitman who perpetrated the attack was part of that program. These are the new hitmen at the order of crime.

Last Saturday, June 7, in the Modelia neighborhood of Bogota, the terrorist attack on Senator Uribe’s life not only reflects that Colombia has gone back to the dark times of violence, led by Pablo Escobar, drug trafficking and the different guerrillas. It also shows, like the snake’s egg, a film by Ingmar Bergman, in which it is clear that “anyone can see the future, it is like a snake’s egg. Through the thin membrane you can distinguish a reptile already formed”. This in reference to the destruction of German democracy and its gradual replacement by a totalitarian regime, Nazism.

In 1995, after giving a lecture on “Political and Constitutional History of Colombia”, Álvaro Gómez was killed in the vicinity of the Sergio Arboleda University by a hired assassin. This assassination and possible State crime took away one of the most brilliant and honorable personalities of Colombian politics. Like Álvaro Gómez, Miguel Uribe has had a political career that is not only similar in ideology but also in rectitude and values, something that inflames the criminals and bandits of what is left of the M19 guerrilla and that now, and for decades now, even have political or judicial power.

Only Colombians can feel indignation, or at least most of them, except for the hundreds of zombies that came out of the underground to attend the Concert of Hope, sponsored by “Palestine”, it seems, because even the flag of that country is worth more than the flag of Colombia for this government and its minimum percentage of followers.
On the other hand, the social and security situation in Valle del Cauca and Cali is not an isolated fact. It is something that has been seen as the days of this perfidious government go by. There must be a change soon, because democracy is in check and a rise of totalitarianism, equal to that of Nazism, is in sight. This government speaks of love and life, while it is perceived as hatred and death.

Miguel uribe, a friend of the Colombian Jewish community and the State of Israel, proposed to re-establish diplomatic and commercial relations with Israel, after Gustavo petro, the current Colombian president, had severed these historic relations in May last year. In addition, Uribe expressed his favorability to move the embassy to Jersualen, Israel’s historic capital. Thus Uribe is a Zionist, as opposed to Petro, an anti-Zionist and even an anti-Semite as several sectors and individuals have labeled him.
