Bernard P. Markowicz was born in Belgium and pursued graduate studies at Princeton University. For 27 years, he has led a successful consulting practice advising public- and private-sector organizations on complex policy, infrastructure, and institutional questions. He lives in Hawaii, writes regularly on public affairs, technology, Jewish identity, and the Middle East, and is active in nonprofit organizations, including the International Institute for Jewish Genealogy.
