Bad Money
Greed has motivated people to lie, steal, murder, and conduct wars. Why is that? Motives vary. It could be jealousy or a way to compensate for feeling powerless, unimportant, unloved, or unseen. Those dramas can mesmerize and fill history books, operas, and movies.
Another bad side of money is when workers are not paid at all or much too little to manage. Think of homemakers and manual laborers. If you live in an unsafe society, where people easily die from a lack of money, change it; if need be, change the whole global money system. You might need to be persistent and not go it alone. The powerlessness is fake. So is the esteem for wealth and wealthy people.
Wars destroy so much and leave many people dead or poor. But selling weapons is ‘great for the economy.’ Don’t let economists fool you.
A last-but-not-least bad side of money is that we can get addicted. The more we get, the more we want. It’s never enough. Getting money as a goal is always toxic. Rich people are often not nice nor happy. No money can make you happy; only you can. Smile, and you’ll be happy. The best solution to break free is to make your life about giving. Only when you discover the joy and fulfillment of constant giving will your greed die. And, not less important, human relationships only blossom when all partners are busy giving. Then also everyone receives, and plenty.
The flip side of a money addiction is the vicious feeling that you don’t deserve anything. Constantly spend a tiny bit on yourself to break the exaggerated humility. Don’t forget to enjoy it and laugh away your guilt.
In any case, these senseless evil sides of money are not its real power.

Good Money
Money really is a tool to quickly provide every person with whatever they need and take away a lot of hurt. So, money is a beautiful thing.
So, money is but an intermediary. But also, it’s not always needed. If, say, you’re handicapped on your own but a people magnet, you might attract countless people eager to take turns fulfilling your every need just for the joy of hanging out with you; then you’re neither handicapped nor in need of money. In another example, if you babysit your neighbors’ kids, and they babysit yours, no money needs to change hands, and all is fair.
Israel’s Finance Minister Smotrich, a self-proclaimed capitalist, just now surprised everyone by going social. He declared, ‘It can’t be that the banks that profited from interest rate increases at the expense of Israeli citizens and did not lend a hand in the war will benefit from high rates without any efficiency on their part. Instead of taking responsibility during the war, they filled their pockets.’ He’s proposed a new tax on excess profits of 15%, but if the banks would then reduce customers’ benefits, he threatened, he would change that to 30%!
