For years Israel has been under attack. Be it the surrounding Arab countries or terrorist factions in and around Israel.  Due to our nature as Jewish Israelis and our need to maintain positive connections with the outside world, we have listened to demands to spare the rod when it comes to wiping out our enemies.  We went so far as to give away the Gaza Strip to the “Palestinians” who demanded a home inside Israel over 20 years ago.  We left communities that used the latest technologies in irrigation developed in Israel to turn virtual wastelands into vibrant farmlands.  The pain of seeing Israelis torn from their homes some physically was too much for most of us to bear.  The families did not destroy their homes and burn their farms to keep those moving in from benefitting from their hard labor. That was done by the Palestinians who took over Gaza making a statement that they want nothing from the “Jews”.

For nearly 20 years, Gaza has become a virtual war machine.  The population has been ruled by terrorists and madmen who torture and kill anyone who speaks up against them. Every time a terrorist attack was perpetrated against Israelis these people have suffered the consequences. Any other population in the world would have found a way to overthrow such a leadership who care nothing about their people, yet this has not happened.  The world decries Israel for wreaking havoc on Gaza after each rocket attack. More money is donated to Gaza per capita than to any other “nation” in the world.  This money is used to rebuild buildings that have been leveled as a result of the terrorist attacks and bombings in Israel.  The rest has gone to line the pockets of this corrupt leadership who cares nothing about their people.  Quite the opposite!  They benefit from every attack that Israel has been forced to commit using it as propaganda against Israel to a naïve world who would rather believe their narrative than the facts on the ground.

Sadly the Israeli government has consistently backed down due to world pressure not fully taking over Gaza allowing this angry Hornet to get stronger and stronger.  We cannot blame the world for this happening,  we can only blame ourselves.  In the Torah “Old Testament” as Christians call it, God told the Israelites to kill the entire tribe of Amalek.  Again due to our love of life, we did not listen and allowed some of them to live and are still suffering the consequences as Amalek is considered the forefather of every enemy the Jewish people have had for centuries.  Jews are considered a stubborn nation and continue to make the same mistakes time after time.  You have to be Cruel to be Kind as the saying goes, something that Jews have a very hard time with.

Unheard of in any other army is warning civilians that a building full of terrorists is about to be bombed.  I learned recently that it is called “Tapping on the Roof” where there are knocks on the roof of a building to alert the inhabitants that flyers are being dropped down to warn them to leave the building before it is bombed.  Israel has lost countless soldiers due to going into buildings to ensure that there are no innocent civilians present.  Hamas and other enemies of Israel and the Jewish people use this knowledge and purposely use civilians as a shield having zero regard for their well-being.  The benefit of showing the world innocent civilians killed by Israel in attacks far outweighs their concern for their lives.

The results of Israel listening to the beckoning calls of the world to stop the bombing before the root of the evil has been eliminated is what we have been seeing in Israel since this war began.  Many of the Palestinian children we have spared over the last 20 years are undoubtedly the same young men who entered Israel on the Jewish Holiday of Simchat Torah, 50 years to the day of the Yom Kippur War, massacring over 1,000 innocent civilians men, women and children and still counting. Hostages are being slaughtered in front of their children.  A music festival with thousands of young people was targeted knowing that Israel and the Jewish people treasure their children more than anything to the point where kidnappings do not occur in Israel.  Hundreds were murdered and tortured.  Israeli soldiers, most right out of high school, are uncovering the horrors of these barbarians who left hundreds of family members dead many shot in their sleep. Those were the lucky ones.  Parents were shot in front of their children who were captured as hostages.  Or children butchered in front of their parents, the pictures too graphic to show to the public.  Over a hundred hostages still remain in Gaza suffering inhumane conditions and cruelty.  This is beyond our imagination of what humans can do to one another.  It is reminiscent of the Holocaust and equally unprecedented.

Almost equally disturbing is the rampant anti-Semitism that has been unleashed once again since the beginning of this war, if you can even call it that.  Crowds of people all over the world are seen in the media supporting the terrorists, yelling in a frenzy to kill the Jews.  As we know, hatred of Israel Is hatred of Jews!

So, what am I getting at?  I believe it has become clear that anyone who has formerly supported the idea of a Two-State solution can no longer say it out loud.  If a small area such as Gaza can succeed in raising a nation so inhumane that its people can rampantly commit such unheard-of crimes against humanity and penetrate Israel in over 80 locations, murder and butcher over a thousand citizens and counting, kidnap families, torture and murdering these hostages, imagine what an entire state of these people within the borders of Israel can do to us!

Though we have heard from the bible; “Those who bless Israel will be blessed. Those who curse Israel will be cursed” this is not only the job of God.  It is our responsibility to protect ourselves from enemies who are out to destroy us.  We have allowed the world to dictate for decades how to handle our “Amalek” and have suffered from that immensely. NO MORE!!!! Now is the time to wipe out our enemies and cut the head off of this venomous snake.  Will innocent civilians die? Yes! But how innocent can they be if they allow a government to rule them in fear, murder innocent people, cheer when they hear that Jews have been killed, and not find a way to overthrow their treacherous leaders.

Gaza has taught us and the rest of the civilized world a lesson.  A Palestinian nation cannot be created in the State of Israel!  Should any Arab country wish to grant them one it is up to them, however for those that know about the history of the Palestinian people, more were killed on Black Sunday in Jordan than ever in Israel and the Arab world uses them as pawns to get the rest of the world to pressure Israel with impossible demands.  As I just heard President Biden state; Jews cannot afford to not have Israel. Never again will our people be rounded up and annihilated without a home to live in where they are the majority and their sole purpose is to protect the Jewish people. It is our job alone to protect our people and stand strong.  No one else will or should do it for us.  I pray this gory unspeakable terrorist war perpetrated by murderers that Biden coins worse that Da’ash will wake up the world to the fact that Never Again will we allow atrocities to happen to the Jewish people.  There is only one State in this land and it is called Israel! Am Yisroel Chai- The People of Israel Live!!!
