Not another word, Donald Trump!
The less said the better. Talking about it just plays into Arab hands, spurring them to multiply their threats and use of violence, which in turn increases the pressure on you not to act.
So don’t mention it again – unless you are made of ‘the right stuff’ and are able to stand up to their violent ways and show them, from the start, the resolve with which you intend to secure and strengthen America’s alliance with Israel – and their threats and violence be damned.
But if that’s not the way you believe you can go, better not to say another word.
For one hundred years the Arabs have played this game of political terrorism, mastering it.
So on Friday, just put your hand on the Holy Bible – the time-tested and revered Judeo-Christian document that designates this land as the Land of Israel, Jerusalem as the city of the great King of Israel, and the Temple Mount as the site of His throne – and swear your oath before the God of Israel to become the 45th President of those United States.
Then just do it!
——————-
Yes. The incoming president says he will move his country’s embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem – undoing an American anti-Semitic* injustice that has been perpetrated against Israel for 50 years.
Intrigued, hopeful (?) other nations watch to see America’s determination. Australian, Canadian, Czech, Dutch, French, and Ukrainian politicians are calling for their governments to prepare to move their embassies to Jerusalem too.
Predictably, the Arab world responds with cries of fury, expressions of rage, and both threats and acts of violence.
When it comes to the return of the Jews to their indigenous national homeland, violence has been the established Arab** ploy for over a century.
In this regard, to our shame, the Judeo-Christian world has much to answer for – the atmosphere it has fostered has encouraged and rewarded the aggressors.
On January 7, outgoing US Secretary of State John Kerry facilitated such violence by issuing a dire warning:
If the embassy is moved to Jerusalem, he said, “you’d have an explosion, an absolute explosion in the region; not just in the West Bank [sic] and perhaps even in Israel itself [sic], but throughout the region.”
His reasoning? “The Arab world has enormous interest in the Haram al-Sharif, as it is called, the Temple Mount, the Dome, and it is a holy site for the Arab world.”
What evil, twisted logic. Yes, of course the Arab world calls it Haram al-Sharif, and thanks to the UNESCO resolutions passed in April and October 2016 they know the world supports this.
Forget about the fact that Mohammed was never in Jerusalem, that he died before Islam conquered the Land of Israel. Forget about the fact that the so-called Al-Aqsa Mosque was built years after this ‘prophet’s’ death and retroactively named “the farthest mosque”. Forget about the fact that he never made a single proclamation about Jerusalem and that the name of this city appears not once in the Quran.
The Arabs call it Haram al-Sharif. UNESCO says it is so. And Kerry confirms that it IS so.
And then, what does the Obama administration do? Two months later it supports*** the passage of UNSC Resolution 2334 that states as fact that part of the historic land of Israel IS “Palestinian territory” (which it has never been). And that this “Palestinian territory” includes the Old City of Jerusalem, the Temple Mount and Holy Sepulchre – sites holiest to the Jews and to Christendom.
So Barack Hussein Obama – during whose tenure the non-existent “Palestine” was given observer state status, following which it could join UNESCO, following which it pushed through the resolution severing the Jewish ties to the Temple Mount and called it exclusively Haram al-Sharif – HE warns that his Judeo-Christian nation’s placing of its embassy in Jerusalem will “cause” Arab violence.
Thank you, Barack Obama. And thank you John Kerry for the timing of this statement .
Bang! Dead on time the following day, January 8, Palestinian Arab Fadi al-Qunbar, ploughs his truck at high speed into a group of young Israeli men and women who were standing on a Jerusalem sidewalk, killing four and injuring 17.
IDF Lieutenant Yael Yekutiel (20), IDF Cadet Shir Hajaj (22), IDF Cadet Erez Orbach (20) and IDF Cadet Shira Tzur (20), were murdered in the attack. Orbach was a dual US citizen.
On January 14, Palestinian terror chief Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah spokesman, Osama Qawasmeh, warns that America moving its embassy will “open the gates of hell.”
On January 15, Sky News gives a platform to another “Palestinian” spokesman who warns moving the embassy will trigger a third intifada that will make the second pale in comparison.
On January 16 the European Union warns in a statement that moving the US embassy could “escalate tensions” with the Arab world:
“It is very important for us all to refrain from unilateral actions, especially those that can have serious consequences in large sectors of public opinion [read “Muslim” – Ed] in large parts [read “Arab” – Ed] of the world,” EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini says following talks in Brussels. “We hope there can be reflection on consequences of any move that is taken.”
Excuse my dripping sarcasm – appeasement is hardly a new phenomenon in Europe.
When Adolf Hitler sent his troops goose-stepping into the Rhineland in a brazen breach of the Treaty of Versailles, he ordered his officers to be ready to turn around and leave if the British or French responded decisively. Instead of facing down the belligerents, the powers overlooked the breach and sought to quell the aggression by offering the Nazis land for peace – the Czech’s Sudetenland.
This cowardly act confirmed the Nazi’s reading of the European nations as weak, encouraging him to war. A year later his panzers rolled into Poland….
Ever since, the Arabs – who still venerate Hitler – have mimicked the Führer’s approach, time and again – and been rewarded for it.
If Donald Trump goes the way of others before him, these threats of violence will cause him to pause, to reconsider, and possibly even to change his mind. Please God they have not already done so.
Mr President-elect, Sir, with all due respect, don’t say another word.
Just do it.

*In all the world, the Jewish state is singled out as the only one whose designated capital is not recognized. This is pure anti-Semitism and is indefensible.
**There are, of course, good Arabs but most (by their own mouths) hate Israel and support her destruction. Most are Muslim, and Islam (the religion of Islam, not “Islamism” or “jihadism”) sanctions violence against Jews (and others) and preaches the destruction – by Muslims – of Israel.
***While the official position is that the US abstained, its deliberate decision to not use its veto – knowing that the resolution would establish a Security Council (not General Assembly) position that entrenches a new designation of the once disputed areas as de facto “Palestinian lands” – was indisputably a vote for it.
