‘Oceans’ by Hillsong with Jewish Interpretation

“Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” is a famous song by Australian worship group Hillsong United. It was released on August 23, 2013 as the final single of their “Zion” album. The lead singer is Taya Smith Gaukrodger.

For the world Jewish community, I have re-written and re-adapted this song for Jewish communities as–“Oceans (For Jewish Souls)”.

I encourage Jewish synagogues around the world to perform this new Jewish song. Moreover, I ask the following Jewish singers to perform this new spiritual song: Yaakov Shwekey, Avraham Fried, Benny Friedman, 8^th Day, Mordechai ben David, Shiri Maimon, Yehudit Ravitz, Aviv Geffen, Mendy Werdyger, Miami Boys Choir, Neshoma Carlebach, Rabbi Shefa Gold, and Lipa Schmeltzer.

Hashem leads me where my faith is without borders                                                                  Bring my holy life in order whenever You would call me                                                      Take me deeper than my soul could ever wander                                                                  And my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my God
