One People. One Book. One Capital.

An entire civilization built upon three pillars:

One People: not a mass, not an abstract citizenship, not a consumer, not a floating individual.

One Book: not a shifting ideology, not a political party, not an academic fashion, not the manifesto of the season.

One Capital: not an administrative capital, but a spiritual one. Jerusalem not as a “beautiful city,” but as the axis of the moral map.

For centuries, the West has searched for formulas: nation, state, market, revolution, rights, progress, democracy, equality…

I see qliphoth “shells, husks, imitations” and I say: no, gentlemen, the true skeleton is something else entirely:

People. Torah. Jerusalem.

Rome never founded the West; Rome administered an inheritance it never fully understood. Athens gave rational form. Rome gave legal structure. Jerusalem gave moral fire.

Without Jerusalem, Rome becomes bureaucracy. Athens becomes cynicism. Paris becomes fashion. London becomes commerce. Berlin becomes engineering without a soul. Moscow becomes an empire with ice in its bones.

I am being sarcastic, but also rather precise.

Today we live at the culmination of a spiritual process in which the inversion of Torah over many centuries has reached its final consequences: nihilism, dissolution, and the celebration of chaos as virtue.

Nobody wishes to understand the process.

First there was the root. Then the cross. Then the empire. Then ideology. Then the mass. Then the screen. And at the top, instead of heaven, there is only comfort until death.

So where does man find the reason to move? Where does he find the reason to fulfill his Tikkun?

I conclude that if we do not exercise our priestly function, the world invents false priests:

Presidents. Bureaucrats. Ideologues. Therapists. Activists. Technocrats.

All of them attempting to occupy a place that was never truly theirs.

A place that Hashem gave as an inheritance, not as a choice.

Examples:

Democracy becomes a qliphah of communal responsibility.

The welfare state becomes a qliphah of Tzedakah.

Activism becomes a qliphah of justice.

Psychology becomes a qliphah of spiritual guidance.

Nationalism becomes a qliphah of tribal identity.

Globalism becomes a qliphah of human unity.

The need behind these things is often real. The form they take is the shell.
