Open letter to those who appease and reward terror

Dear President/Prime Minister/Ambassador/Protestor/Student/UN Representative etc
Tragically, much of the world’s leadership, opinion shapers and ‘man/woman in the street’ have decided to not only condone the actions of Hamas but to reward them. This has come in the form of charging Israel with genocide, issuing arrest warrants for its leaders and recognizing statehood. This has come also through including Israel on blacklists and through parading through the streets and universities demanding an end of the Zionist state and in support of Hamas and their objectives.
We saw yesterday by Hamas’s own admission (see picture) its deliberate use of civilian homes in high density urban areas to hold the hostages. This builds on the repeated use of UN facilities, schools, mosques and hospitals.
I have grown accustomed to your default vilification of Israel no matter what it does but your encouragement, support, justification, appeasement and denial of the reality is truly staggering.
I truly mourn the tragic loss of innocent life in Gaza but this is on Hamas and also is on those like you who support them. I hope that most of the rationale people reading this can see that Israel has no alternatives when its hostages are being held hostage within civilian apartments but I know you will go on with your unequivocal support.
I am proud of the resolve, determination and moral integrity of the IDF and fiercely denounce those of you who support and encourage those who seek to terrorize both Israelis and their own Gazan citizens.
Unfortunately, and I pray this doesn’t happen, one day you too will realize that appeasing a brutal terror organization that rapes, murders, mutilates innocent young and old and then holds its own population hostage, is a mistake and a major moral misjudgement.
I pray for peace and an end to the tragedy that started on 7th October but it won’t come through giving in to the objectives of the terrorists.
