#openShabbat Returns & New Kosher Carne Food Truck at #SXSW 2015
What a great way to start off the Interactive portion of SXSW 2015.
Rabbi Mordechai Lightstone and his wonderful wife, Chana and their family are once again doing way cool things at the Interactive portion of #SXSW 2015.
Starting off this Friday, March 16 at 7:30 PM, it’s #openShabbat at the Hilton Downtown Austin / Salon K – 500 E. 4th St. in Austin.
You can meet tons of cool people in tech and digital media where you can escape the chaos and get a taste of a traditional Shabbat experience, wonderful food, great wine and tons of un-networking.
Everyone is welcome, and please bring your friends – no experience required… and oh, yeah…. please turn off your smart phone. This is a chance to connect in the real world, face to face, and with other fellow humans
This year’s #openShabbat is powered by #JNFuture to bring even more awesomeness and funded by a grant by a Grassroots grant from the ROI Community.
New for 2015, you will want to check out the Kosher Carne Latin food truck, with celebrity chef Deborah Benaim, as seen on the #AskGaryVeeShow.
This year there’s an Indiegogo campaign to cover the final expenses for making all this goodness and fun happen. And there’s some amazing perks when you take part.
There’s already a matching donor for the first $1800 that is raised, meaning your donation is doubled!
So please, take a moment, check out the campaign and make it an awesome year at SXSW.
I hope to see you all there.
Let’s connect.
In the real world.
And yes, please turn off your smart phone.
