Palestinian Lives Don’t Matter to Hamas — Only Their Deaths Do

The Israel-Gaza war is being fought on two fronts—on the battlefield and in the court of public opinion. While Israel targets Hamas’s terror infrastructure, Hamas and its allies have mastered the art of deception, spreading a false narrative that Israel is committing genocide. But does this accusation hold up under even the slightest scrutiny?

Genocide: A Word Stripped of Meaning

Genocide is not just a term to be thrown around—it has a clear definition under international law. The United Nations defines it as actions intended to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. If Israel truly intended to exterminate Palestinians, why has it taken extraordinary steps to minimize civilian casualties, even at the cost of its own soldiers’ lives?

Israel has issued millions of warnings before airstrikes, urged civilians to evacuate, and facilitated humanitarian aid deliveries into Gaza. These are not the actions of a country bent on destruction; they are the actions of a nation fighting a war against terrorism while trying to uphold its moral obligations. How many other countries have gone to such lengths in warfare?

Hamas’s Strategy: Exploiting Palestinian Suffering

Hamas is not just a terror group—it is a regime that thrives on the deaths of its own people. By embedding weapons and command centers in schools, hospitals, and densely populated neighborhoods, Hamas ensures high civilian casualties to manipulate global outrage against Israel. If Hamas truly cared about protecting Palestinian lives, why does it use them as human shields?

Reports show that 30% of casualties in Gaza come from Hamas’s own misfired rockets, yet the media continues to blame Israel for every death. Civilians who attempt to flee are often shot or beaten by Hamas operatives who need their human shield strategy to succeed. Why do these atrocities go unreported while Israel is condemned for defending itself?

The Media’s Role: Ignoring the Truth

For Hamas, the Western media is its most powerful weapon. It broadcasts Hamas’s casualty numbers without question, ignoring the fact that these figures come from a terrorist-run health ministry with no independent verification. Meanwhile, Israeli losses, Hamas’s war crimes, and the suffering of Israeli hostages are largely ignored. Why does the media choose to amplify Hamas’s narrative while dismissing Israel’s right to self-defense?

Hamas leaders live in luxury in Qatar, while ordinary Gazans struggle under the weight of war. Hamas steals humanitarian aid, hoards fuel, and executes dissenters. Yet, instead of calling out the real oppressor of Palestinians, activists and journalists direct their outrage solely at Israel. When will they acknowledge that Hamas—not Israel—is responsible for prolonging this war?

The Reality: Israel is Fighting for Its Survival

Hamas’s charter explicitly calls for the annihilation of Jews, not just in Israel, but worldwide. This is not speculation—it is openly stated in Hamas’s founding documents and repeated by its leaders. While Israel fights to protect its citizens from a genocidal enemy, the world accuses it of genocide. How did the global conversation become so backwards?

Israel’s military capabilities could reduce Gaza to rubble in days, yet it chooses precise strikes over total destruction. It continues to provide humanitarian aid despite Hamas’s theft of supplies. It upholds international law while facing an enemy that celebrates mass murder. What more does Israel have to do to prove that it is not the aggressor?

The claim that Israel is committing genocide is not just false—it is a deliberate lie designed to erode Israel’s legitimacy. It ignores the reality that Hamas started this war, Hamas prolongs it, and Hamas ensures that civilians remain in harm’s way. If Israel wanted to wipe out Palestinians, why are there still over 2 million people living in Gaza?

The world has fallen for a deception that rewards terrorists and punishes those who fight them. If the truth mattered as much as the outrage, would anyone still believe Israel is the villain?
