Parashah Raúl — A Horizon That Never Closed
On my brother’s yahrzeit, memory becomes a doorway.
The Day Memory Opens
Today is my brother Raúl’s yahrzeit. I wanted to share this small tribute to him.
TO MY BROTHER RAÚL
To my brother Raúl,
an indefatigable seeker of truth,
who still walks beside me.
To you, who allegedly left us far too soon,
as though time had faltered
or carried you away without warning.
Your spiritual curiosity remains alive:
it breathes through my questions,
moves my days,
and steadies my nights.
They say you are gone,
but I feel otherwise:
your presence, your questions, endure
where truth touches
and wounds.
I miss you deeply.
I do not know what realm of light holds you now,
but I still hear your step.
You did not leave;
you merely changed horizons.
And in this book, in my life,
you remain the seeker
who teaches me
not to forget.
A Book Born from Our Conversations
I’m sharing this along with something he inspired — a book shaped by our conversations about life, meaning, and personal growth, which I wrote and chose to give away freely.
Each chapter unfolds as a dialogue between us, preserving the way we used to talk about Torah, philosophy, and the challenges of being human. It’s called The Inner Path: Beyond the Ego.

If it brings comfort to even one person, it has done its job.
The Blessing That Stays
May his memory be a blessing.
