PLEASE SAVE US-AN APPEAL TO THE MEMBERS OF THE KNESSET WHO SUPPORT THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT

I was planning to write a blog today on whether we are Sparta or Massada or just plain Israel 19 September 2025, but the loss of six Israeli soldiers yesterday changed everything.

We have no time-we must stop Bibi now for the sake of our hostages, our soldiers and the rest of us!

We must stop Bibi and his government now -right now- before the disaster which started on the first day of this government and has continued and worsened until today, does not totally destroy our country -and I emphasize the word “our” because it is the country of more than those who voted for the present government.

You do not have to be a general to understand that the loss of four soldiers to a mine yesterday is the beginning of what General Zamir called a death-trap for our soldiers-You do not have to be a defense expert to understand that bombing the city of Gaza endangers the lives of our hostages -at least the lives of those who are still alive! And you do not have to be an expert in public relations to understand that we are about to face an embargo in all fields by most of the civilized world. We could have done more to stop this embargo but the present government of Israel has not even started the offensive against those who have been spreading lies about genocide for years, and who know how to use the pictures from Gaza to continue their offensive while we have yet begun the fight.

I beg those of you who support this government to change your minds whether you actually sit in the Knesset or whether you are a political supporter of the present government-it is you who by voting against this government in the Knesset can change the government -it is you who can give all of us a chance to go to the polls and decide who we want to govern Israel now-not a few years ago but NOW! And it is you who can save the lives of our hostages and our soldiers in what is becoming a senseless war!!

We who have been demonstrated for more than two years against the present government have not been able to change the government but you who are part of the present government or support the government have a chance to stop the destruction of Israel-you who still have a conscience and are willing to look at the truth have a chance to save all of us!
