Political Post Mortem

I was a Democrat for years until the party was hijacked by elites. During this last presidential campaign, rather than listening to the voices of the non elites in middle America (including all of the battle ground states) as Trump did, elite Democrats listen(ed) to themselves in their echo chambers and convinced their non elite followers to do the same.

I rarely watch television and I’ve never watched/listened to The View before but, the morning after the election, I did just to see what Whoopi Goldberg and her crew would have to say… The bottom line is that the six elites steering the show (rather than having other views on as guests) just do not get it… all the six could say was how much they hate Trump (which was the Democratic shortsighted platform), how he’s going to be a dictator and is gross (even falsely claiming that he sexually assaulted a microphone when it didn’t work at a recent rally).

Not one of them acknowledged that Harris basically was (like Biden) an Obama puppet, isn’t very bright, can’t/couldn’t formulate a coherent sentence or answer softball questions by them, CNN, and her other supporters, lied and flip flopped about major issues to placate the undecided (whom she and her supporters thought weren’t smart enough to realize what she was/they were doing…which is the height of their arrogance), that the party didn’t listen to middle Americans and even insulted them by calling them names, seeing any who didn’t agree as idiots, trying to divide the country by race at every turn, claiming that those who didn’t vote for Harris were racist because she’s Black…..which is a convenient racial description when it suits her….or Indian or middle class when those labels suit her….or misogynistic because she’s a woman, and that -wait for it- “people weren’t used to seeing Harris but were habitually used to seeing Trump who appeared on television at every opportunity”, WG (ignorantly) said….to which another elite agreed and added that Harris’ other problem was that “she had only three months to prepare and although she did a fabulous job, it wasn’t enough time”……never acknowledging that for the first forty days she refused to give interviews and when she did, she said nothing except to denigrate Trump.

Not one of the elites acknowledged other kinds of party stupidity, such as Harris choosing the wrong running mate, Harris and Biden never taking a clear and loud stand against anti semitism on college and university campuses (and in fact, by their silence, helping to coddle haters hiding in terroristic garb), that trotting out ultra wealthy celebrities to say they understood the economic problems facing average workers was tasteless at best and completely disingenuous at worst, not acknowledging that open border non criminals and open border criminals are getting benefits and hotels to live in that should go to veterans and the homeless and that those tactics didn’t help to create voters among those two groups.

The six continued to give more of the same nonsensical excuses, but I had to stop listening so that I wouldn’t throw up.

Even after losing, when the answers, as to why Harris lost, are as clear as daylight, it’s absolutely frightening that the tone deaf elites (such as those six, plus the Obamas, the Harrises, the Bidens, the Clintons, the Pelosis, the celebrities, etc, who have tremendous influence on their tone deaf choirs) don’t want to look inward and learn for the future of national unity, not to mention (but since that’s a ridiculous idiom, I’ll mention it) for the party’s own possible political future success.
