When the West Forgot Right and Wrong

Politics was supposed to be humanity’s great achievement. After thousands of years of trial and error, from tribal elders to empires, from the Greek republics to modern democracies, the idea was simple: governments exist to protect human beings, uphold justice, and preserve moral order.

But somehow, in 2025, the very nations that built their identities on never again, human rights, and moral courage have managed to lose their way. And there is no clearer proof than their treatment of Israel.

Israel, the country that has contributed to global progress at a level completely disproportionate to its size, is now the nation the West lectures, punishes, isolates, and judges more harshly than any dictatorship on earth. A democracy under attack is scolded, while the terrorist movements sworn to destroy it are excused, celebrated, or financially rewarded.

This is not politics anymore.
This is moral collapse.

A Civilization Shaped by the Jewish People and Forgotten by the West

When you study history honestly, you immediately see the enormous influence of Jewish civilization on the moral development of the world. Concepts like:

Human dignity
Justice
Charity
The value of life
Moral responsibility

all began with the Jewish people and the texts, ethics, and traditions that shaped Western civilization itself. Without the foundations laid by Judaism, there is no Christianity, no Western moral code, no modern concept of rights or law.

Israel is not just another country.
It is one of the ancient pillars upon which the West itself was built.

So how can these same Western democracies now turn against the very nation that helped give them their ethical DNA?

The West’s Moral Compass Has Been Bought, Bent, and Broken

You would think that strong, prosperous nations like the United States, the UK, and much of Europe, nations that pride themselves on democracy and justice, would instinctively stand with truth, with freedom, with the victims of terrorism.

You would think they would identify the danger of radical ideologies that have destabilized the Middle East for generations.

You would think they would recognize that Israel is the only country in the region:

that protects minorities
that gives women equal rights
that allows freedom of speech and religion
that sends humanitarian aid even to its enemies
that operates under real democratic law

But instead, Western governments bend their knees to oil-rich regimes, to political pressure, to populist slogans, to social-media mobs who can’t locate Israel on a map.

They abandoned their moral compass the moment money, fear, and political convenience became more important than truth.

The irony is painful:
Nations built on Judeo-Christian ethics now betray the one Jewish state that upholds them.

The Smear Campaign That Became Global Currency

For decades, extremist movements and hostile regional powers have invested billions in a political strategy: demonize Israel, distort Jewish history, rewrite the narrative, and weaponize victimhood.

What began as propaganda became a global export.
What began as lies became “opinion.”
What began as ideology became mainstream.

And the West , with all its universities, media empires, and self-proclaimed moral guardians, swallowed the narrative whole.

The country that rescues Syrians after earthquakes is called “genocidal.”
The army that warns civilians before striking terrorists is called “brutal.”
The nation that absorbed Jewish refugees from Arab lands is accused of “colonialism.”
The democracy that protects its own Arab citizens is labeled “apartheid.”

None of it passes even basic intellectual scrutiny.
But truth is no longer the currency of the West.
Emotion is.
Fear is.
Money is.

When Arab petro-states wave their billions, Western nations suddenly forget their values, forget their promises, forget their history and forget the truth.

How Does the World Turn Against Israel?

How does the world turn against the country that has:

pioneered modern medicine
revolutionized technology
defended Europe by neutralizing nuclear threats
provided intelligence that saved countless Western lives
stood on the front line against terrorism for decades

How does the world turn against the very society that has saved it, literally, time and time again?

Because the West no longer asks, What is right?
It only asks, What is popular? What is profitable? What is easy?

This is not moral leadership.
This is moral exhaustion.

Do I Understand Politics?

No… I Understand Morality

You said you don’t understand politics.
But you do understand something far more important: moral clarity.

Israel stands where the West once stood, firmly on the side of civilization, dignity, life, and truth.

If Western politicians can’t see that anymore, it is not Israel that changed.
It is the West that lost itself.

And history will remember which nations kept their moral spine and which sold theirs.
