In my role as the Rackspace Brand Ambassador to Israel, I go to lots of meetups, startup events, and conferences in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and Nazareth.

Watch and learn how members of the community use Product Hunt. The video is three minutes long.  Be sure to watch the whole thing to the very end for a bit of fun.

While each community and event might be slightly different, there is a common theme that runs through them all:  we are here to help each other, share insights on our successes and failures, make new connections, and shine a light on the magic of Startup Nation.

Last night at WeWork / Dubnov in Tel Aviv, 300 hundred of us came together to learn about Product Hunt, how to make the most of the platform for launching products and growing a business, and to hear from one of the founding team members of the company, Erik Torenberg.  Rackspace was also a sponsor of the event.

When I try to convey the energy, the vibe and the positive events like these, it’s often best illustrated in capturing content like the one above.   Erik conveyed his enthusiasm for the community in Israel, why Israel was important to Product Hunt as a source for innovation and cool products, and how the community has come together to help promote each other and drive our collective success.

It’s events like these that illustrate our startup community at its best.

The collective energy, the desire to help each other, and have a bit of fun makes this region of the world so special.

Thank you Ben Lang and David Bedussa for bringing the community together and making this happen.
