Last year, I had the opportunity to meet a true American Patriot and a dear friend of the the Nation of Israel. If you are looking for someone who tirelessly fights for the greater good of the people, Israel, and humanity as a whole then you need not look farther than Mike Lawler. Representative Mike Lawler (R-NY) is one of the most prominent pro-Israel voices in the US House of Representatives. Representing New York’s 17th Congressional District, which has one of the highest Jewish populations per capita in the country, Lawler has made staunch legislative and diplomatic support for Israel a centerpiece of his political identity.

The Key aspects of his record and positions regarding Israel include: The Stand with Israel Act: Lawler introduced this bipartisan bill (co-led with Rep. Jared Moskowitz) to halt US funding to United Nations agencies if they vote to expel, suspend, downgrade, or otherwise restrict Israel’s participation.

Stance on Regional Conflict: Following military escalations, Lawler has explicitly stated that the US must consider all options against Iran and its proxies. He has continually maintained that any ceasefire or lasting resolution in Gaza strictly requires Hamas to surrender and release all remaining hostages.
