Among the U.S. Secretaries of State—both Democrats and Republicans—there were those who dealt with Iran and whose names have remained in the Iranian public consciousness. During the same era, John Foster Dulles was associated with the tasteless joke and the blatant lie about the CIA coup in Iran, which was fundamentally false. However, later in the 1960s, Dean Rusk witnessed Iran’s flourishing and modernization by the late Shah.

Before 1979 and the arrival of Khomeini, the names of William P. Rogers, Henry Kissinger, and Cyrus Vance were very prominent. The first two knew Iran and the late Shah well but were unwilling to take seriously the accurate and documented reports by SAVAK about Islamic -Marxist terrorists. The latter was fundamentally unfamiliar with Iran and engaged romantically with the charlatans who supported Mossadegh and the Islamists, becoming infamous in Iranian history—one of the notorious figures of the Jimmy Carter administration who lacked understanding of the Middle East.

U.S. Secretaries of State after 1980—Warren Christopher, Alexander Haig, George Shultz—mostly knew the kind of Islamic monster they were facing. Even during Reagan‘s era, the then-CIA director was inclined to help Iran’s young crown prince (Reza Pahlavi) and even broadcast a 15-minute message from the prince on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s TV, IRIB, which also frightened Khomeini and his entourage. During Shultz’s tenure, the Iran-Contra affair occurred, and the covert arms sales by the U.S. and Israel to Iran and their desire to maintain relations with the mullahs took place.

During the presidency of George H.W. Bush, James Baker knew why the warmongering mullah had set the Middle East on fire and continued a war for six years without cause. I later spoke with him, and he mentioned how crucial it was to calm the Middle East and end the war during his time.

In the Clinton era, a Secretary of State named Madeleine Albright fell for the despised lobbying of the Islamic Republic in America and repeated the same lie from 1953 to please the mullahs and their outlaw regime, which became fundamentally ridiculous and later in my conversation with her, she regretted it, but the criminal mullahs exploited it. Although she was sincerely against dictatorship and despotism and advocated for democracy. She wasn’t entirely to blame, at the Pope’s funeral, Bill Clinton turned towards the seat where Khatami was sitting and waved his hand in respect.

Yet, there were two other figures among the Secretaries of State, Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice, whom I also saw in Iraq, and both knew well the havoc the Islamic Republic’s terrorism network had wreaked on the Middle East and consistently criticized the aggressive behaviors of the mullahs’ republic in their speeches.

However, in subsequent administrations, two other Secretaries of State, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, showed no inclination towards serious and disciplining behavior towards the mullahs. Both were unwilling to believe that diplomacy with the mullahs meant a farce and that the foreign policy of the mullahs was defined by enmity with Israel and America and discussing with mullahs whether reformist or conservative was useless and like putting lipstick on a pig.

In Trump’s first term, Rex Tillerson was very ignorant towards the Islamic Republic, and later Mike Pompeo raised his heels against the mullahs and wrote juicy tweets against them, but eventually went to speak at a Marxist-Islamist terrorist group (MEK) for a handful of bloody-dirty dollars, and this appearance in a cult of 1979’s insanity completely faded him from the sight of the Iranian people and no one took his words seriously anymore.

Lately, Antony Blinken seems to have merely been tasked with not saying anything that might upset Khamenei. He spent his first three years naively believing in democracy with the mullahs and even refused to say that Khamenei had ordered the October 7th attack.

Today, one of the primary enemies of the criminal mullahs and Ayatollahs who love Islamic terrorism has reached the State Department. He is well-informed and knowledgeable about the situation in Iran and knows that the Islamic Republic with its mullahs’ government is not one and the same, and they are different. His presence in Trump‘s cabinet is like a jewel in the center of a ring. His meeting with HRH Prince Pahlavi also increased his respect among Iranians. Rubio certainly does not waste his time on diplomacy with mullahs and knows that respecting mullahs means insulting humanity and supporting despotism and savagery.

Senator Rubio should prioritize a firm and clear diplomatic strategy that unequivocally addresses the threats posed by the Iranian regime while actively supporting democratic aspirations within Iran, without compromising on human rights or engaging in superficial diplomacy.

As someone who has attended several of Rubio’s speeches, I am well acquainted with his understanding of Islamic terrorism and know that he likes to meet and discuss with knowledgeable Iranian figures who are well-informed about Iran’s security issues. He pays no attention to the rumors and lies spread by the propaganda machines of the mullahs’ regime and their echo by the despised lobbies of the Islamic Republic within the U.S. He definitely also wants to break the censorship prevailing over some U.S. government-funded Persian media and use them to promote democracy in Iran. I am ready to write this testimony about him right here that a friend of the Middle East is going to the State Department building, and a historic opportunity for the Middle East has arisen.
