#ShabbatProject – What’s Happening for French, English and Hebrew speakers in Israel?

Yes, it’s the Shabbat Project this weekend throughout the world, including of course in Israel.

Shabbat is all about connecting with each other and our community and the information below will help you do just that over this coming Shabbat wherever you will be.

Even if you don’t go to an event, make sure to speak to your neighbours and maybe even invite them for a meal!

So, what’s happening?

Let’s start with Tel Aviv:

On my IsraelB listing for Tel Aviv, I featured four events:

  1. Inspired Tel Aviv
  2. TAIS – Tel Aviv International Synagogue
  3. Ichud Shivat Tzion
  4. White City Tel Aviv

Now, on to Jerusalem:

Unlike previous years, there doesn’t seem to be as much as usual going on, particularly with regards to challah bakes, but here are some things worth checking out. Details for the information below are on my IsraelB listing for Jerusalem.

Here are some highlights:

  1. Shiur in Har Nof with Shira Smiles
  2. Chabad Baka meal
  3. Emek Learning Center Seudah Shlishit
  4. Friday night Oneg Shabbat
  5. OU Israel Center Seudah Shlishit
  6. Seudah Shlishit at  the Shuk

Whatever you do, don’t forget the purpose of the Shabbat Project is to connect with your fellow Jews and your community so make sure to!

Most importantly – Enjoy being Jewish with your friends!

Benjy.
