Socialists Live in an Either/Or World

Those who claim there are no absolutes live their lives in nothing but absolutes. Theirs is a world of either/or that dictates everything they believe. There are only two options they give themselves for everything and nothing can convince them other options exist due to a strong emotional attachment.

Either Israel gives up land, or there can be no peace. This is only a reference to those who do not hate Jews. Much of the American Jewish population is filled with people who truly believe the only way peace can be achieved between Israel and the Palestinians is through giving up land.

It does not matter that Israel cannot afford to give up any land for strategic reasons alone. The landmass is not large enough to be able to give up anything, but geography does not matter to those who truly believe in the either/or. To them, the Palestinians will simply stop carrying out terrorist actions if they have their own country.

The Palestinians have walked away from every deal Israel has agreed to in the name of peace. They have no interest in living next to a Jewish state. The goals of the terrorist organizations controlling the Palestinians, which are Iranian backed, is the complete destruction of Israel and the death of every Jewish person in the region.

They also ignore what Jordan did completely and treat Black September as if it never happened. There is a belief the Palestinians were always within Israeli borders. Prior to Black September, 2/3 of the population of Jordan was Palestinian. The Jordanian army forced every Palestinian out of their country and slaughtered thousands of civilians in the process.

Either then President Obama had to make the Iran deal, or Iran was going to become a nuclear power. It does not matter that there were no checks included to ensure they would keep their end of the deal. They were the leading state sponsor of terrorist in the world before the deal and remain so to this day.

Iran went from calling the United States the great Satan, to calling the United States the great Satan. They went from calling for American blood to run in the streets of the Middle East, to calling for American blood to run in the streets of the Middle East. Their attitude towards the world did not change as a result of the Iran deal.

President Obama, as part of the deal, sent 400 million in non-US currency and 1.3 billion US dollars in cash to Iran. There were no checks in place to ensure money would not be used for the purposes of carrying out terrorist attacks around the world. Secretary of State, John Kerry, admitted knowing some of the money would be used to fund terrorist activities and there was nothing the United States could do to prevent it from happening.

“I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists,” he said in the interview in Davos, referring to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps. “You know, to some degree, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that every component of that can be prevented.”

In 1994, there was a different country that was every bit as determined to become a nuclear power as Iran was in 2015 and remain so to this day. Then President Clinton was told either the sanctions holding back North Korea be removed, or the North Koreans would continue to suffer. The North Korean government, much like the Iranian government, was not known for holding up their end of anything they agreed to.

The North Koreans were suffering in 1994, but it had nothing to do with US sanctions. They suffered as a result of a totalitarian regime and lifting the sanctions did not end the suffering. North Korea became a nuclear power as a result of the deal, since they did not hold up their end.

Had the Iran deal not been pulled out of, Iran would be on their way to becoming a nuclear power. They already supply weapons to terrorist organizations around the world and the last thing the world needs are dirty bombs being added to the arsenal. Iran wants the complete destruction of Israel and the free nations of the world. There is no reason to believe they will not launch to make it happen.

Either the democratic world spend itself into oblivion fight climate change, or we’re all going to die. They demand an increase in the purchase of solar panels manufactured in China, which is the biggest polluter in the world. The manufacture of solar panels is not an environmentally friendly process and China does nothing to store the waste that currently poisons their own people.

Hydrogen is where the focus should be, since the only things released when used for energy are water and heat. It is far more environmentally sound to use hydrogen, but solar gets the tongues wagging without any thought as to how the panels are produced. The UK based company, Powerhouse Energy, is currently using waste plastic to help create hydrogen fuel cells for cars, which is a great solution to a real problem.

If the socialists could step back from either/or, they would see solar panels are not the answer. It helps to keep China propped up as the biggest polluter in the world. The fewer things purchased from China the better for a whole host of reasons, including environmental.

Climate has been changing for billions of years and will continue to change. The warming that has been occurring started in 1860, which is when the Little Ice Age came to an end. When ice ages end, it brings about a gradual warming. There was almost no industrialization in 1860 and man had nothing to do with the warming that started at that time.

Either you are a socialist, or you are evil. They believe they are on the side of good and have only good intentions. This means anyone who disagrees with them must be evil. If they have good intent, then anyone who does not agree with them must have ill intent. It creates a closed mind incapable of seeing reason.

Life is not filled with either/or choices in the free world. The more complex the problem, the greater the number of options. Those who live by either/or cannot see beyond the two choices they become obsessed with.
