Sonnet for Parsha Pekudei

Sonnet for Parsha Pekudei

The outer sanctuary to be rebuilt,

The inner one always awaits our presence.

The ornaments are within our essence.

The materials in our souls forever filled.

For twelve semi -precious stones for the tribes,

Always on the breastplate awaited in our lives.

Painted by the colours of our prayers,

In our history on so many layers.

In deep passionate colours, the efod

Longs for all possible blessings bestowed by G`d.

The hooks and sockets need a steady rod,

For that our souls refine themselves and laud.

The table, the show bread and menorah light

Our life journey with bright vision and sight.
