The European elections have just ended, and there it goes, a big political shift.

There it goes, the quiet majority getting fed up.

There it goes, the people have spoken up.

“We pushed it too far, with our liberal directions…” – she says.

“..they once made sense but they have been pushed too far for too long…” – he adds.

“Yes, we pushed it and we are becoming illiberal” – she replies.

And so the word Radical Left then slowly becomes connected to illiberal ethics and extreme laws, nowadays crashing our liberal moderate perspectives.

We pushed it too far. Radical Left looking like Radical Right. Same old issue.

We pushed it so far that, as moderates, we had to change perspectives ourselves.

And there it goes, thank you Democracy to allow to change our mind. Because it is OK to.

It is OK to shift direction when we realize we went too far; it is OK.

And there it goes…welcome to a new era, hoping that this one will not go too far as well.

Still dreaming of moderation.
