Strike Before Being Struck

Once again, Hamas has threatened war against us. We must take them at their word. They are building many new tunnels, not amateur ones, but tunnels designed by professional engineers and built with precision tools.

These tunnels underground are Hamas’ promise to strike our territory at the 1948 borders. This means that our major cities are endangered.

Residents living close to the Gaza border have complained about hearing tunneling noises.

Our military must strike the pre-emptive first blow. We cannot afford to wait until Hamas chooses the date and time. Millions of lives of our citizens are in danger.

In the past when war threatened, our air force destroyed the Egyptian airfields and we were spared a catastrophe.

We have brilliant military and intelligence personnel. Although they may differ in opinions, they are skilled to realize what must be done and when.

The world does not care about us. We are criticized just for breathing in our own land. The UN is a very dangerous enemy who accuses us of torturing and killing “innocent” Palestinians who attack us.

It’s time to ignore the UN and other voices crying out for the “preservation” of humanity.

Our Jewish tradition teaches us “adam karov etzel atzmo”… a man is responsible for himself.

The key word is “himself”. The plural is “ourselves”. We need to protect the security of ourselves.

Be prepared for the worst and act quickly. Strike Gaza and Hamas before we are struck. The world cares little what we do but they make strong efforts to condemn us when we are attempting to save our own lives.

Sometimes I feel that the post World War II European leaders would be happy if we committed national suicide… another Masada. Then we would not be a problem to them.

Then they and the Islamic State and radical Islamic terrorists can hold hands and dance together as best friends.

But we will not allow them to dance over our bodies. We will not give the world the satisfaction of Jewish national suicide.

We live because it our will to live and because God gave us the right to live on the soil of the land of Israel. He gave it to no other people or nations.

It is God’s gift to His chosen people. In the covenant He made with our patriarch Avraham avinu, God promised the land forever to all generations of the children of Israel.

We are here… here in the land of God’s promise. And here we shall remain and grow stronger
and more numerous.

Am Yisrael chai. The people and the nation of Israel lives… and shall continue to live forever.
