I barely stepped off the Miami/Tel Aviv El Al direct flight and read about the Bay Harbor Islands Florida Police Corporal that was suspended since he “liked” he wife’s post against Rashida Tlaib’s support of BDS, Hamas, and Hizbollah. What happened to the First Amendment, Freedom of Speech? Ok he is a police officer but he didn’t say anything. He liked his wife’s post. His wife by the way is Anabelle Lima Taub, born in Haifa, she is one of us, and is an elected Commissioner for the City of Hallandale Beach.
So Rashida and her cohorts can defame us, promote BDS and during her first term in Congress she accused her Jewish colleagues of dual loyalty to Israel—an anti-Semitic trope—and shared on Twitter cartoons drawn by an anti-Semite who won a prize in Iran’s notorious Holocaust denial contest.
If Rashida can “tweet” such hateful messages and participate in hate fests such as the American Muslims for Palestine Election Conference 2020, Corporal Pablo can support his wife’s pro Israel remarks.
Whomever feels offended by the Town Manager, J. C. Jimenez of Bay Harbor Islands’ actions to suspend an officer with a stellar record can send a complaint to:
Town Manager J.C. Jimenez, City Hall Bay Harbour Islands, 9665 Bay Harborr Terrace, Bay Harbor Islands, Florida 33154, telephone 305-866-6241. It wouldn’t hurt to write to the Miami Herald either; firstname.lastname@example.org
