Q: What are your main productivity tips?
My role requires combining vision and strategy with actionable deliverables.
Every morning during my daily physical exercise, I prioritize and balance strategy with a focus on delivery.
Being originally a chemical engineer, I translate the vision to operational execution plans.
As a leader of multi-disciplinary teams, I surround myself with strong innovative people. They are challenging and motivating me daily while I’m inspiring them with my vision. The result is a connected team that delivers effectively towards a shared north star.
Q: What is your favorite drink?
Sparkling water, clear and refreshing.
Q: How do you deal with stress and anxiety?
As a track and field former Israeli champion, I learned how to prepare myself for important competitions, and I’m combining it with my 20+ years of experience in the tech industry. I’m leveraging both by taking a deep breath and distancing myself from the stressful situation to develop a different perspective and come up with a solution and execution plan.
Trekking and hiking through the year are charging me with balanced energy that is very helpful in stressful work-related situations.
Q: Your tips for aspiring entrepreneurs?
Dream!!! And prevent the execution considerations from obstructing your dreams. Then have a strong execution team around you to drive operations.
Q: Who in the Tech industry would you like to meet for lunch?
Mariam Reza. We met at Liverperson, and we are strongly connected. I make sure we meet every time I’m in New York. Mariam is a strong women leader with remarkable execution capabilities. She inspires me as I see her ongoing growth and improvement, taking on new challenges and re-inventing herself.
Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Israel, I was born here, my entire family is here, which is my source of joy, happiness, and success.
Q: What is your favorite book recommendation?
“When Heroes Fly” – by Amir Gutfreund, a great Israeli writer; I love reading his books and enjoy the way he describes people’s stories. His characters inspire me.
Q: Why are you in Tech?
I enjoy the pace of change and innovation. Tech is like solving multi pieces puzzles (which I greatly enjoy). It requires constructing the big picture by adding up the small pieces and breaking the big picture back into small pieces.
Working in Tech encourages me always to be creative, solve interesting problems and break boundaries.
