Welcome to my Tech Leaders Interview Series, where I interview impactful leaders and ask them to share tips and techniques that have benefited them, both in their personal and professional lives.

This interview is with Elad Rosanski, Co-Founder & CMO of evmux

About Elad:

Elad Rosanski is an experienced entrepreneur with vast experience in the event-tech industry. Elad co-founded Pixeline and led the global marketing and sales operations. Elad holds an LL.B and a B.A in East Asian Studies from Tel-Aviv University.

What are your main productivity tips?

I would say don’t go to sleep too late at night and sleep 6-7 hours. That’s a game-changer for me!

What is your favorite drink?

I might surprise you, but I REALLY like water. As for alcoholic drinks, I like Vodka+Redbull, like we used to drink when we were young.

How do you deal with stress and anxiety?

I think that for me, what works is basically accepting the fact that running a startup is very stressful, no way around it. I’m trying to enjoy the pressure and also get the best out of it – it makes me sharp, focused, and strive to win.

Your tips for aspiring entrepreneurs?

My Grandmother used to say: “You need special blood to become an entrepreneur.” I think that’s so right. It’s not suitable for everyone. But, with that being said, if you have this “blood,” you HAVE to do this. It’s so amazing to wake up in the morning to lead and build your own business.

Who in the Tech industry would you like to meet for lunch?

I would really like to have lunch with Stewart Butterfield, the Founder & CEO of Slack. The reason is that I’m a true believer in Product Led Growth, and what Slack accomplished as a Product Led Growth tool is phenomenal. I’d like to get some inspiration from him, as we are just getting started, and he crashed it already.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

My wife, my two years old son and I just relocated to the Miami Area 6 months ago, and that’s the most amazing place I’ve ever lived at. Don’t get me wrong, relocation is very challenging, and being far away from family and friends is very hard, but putting that aside for one second, where we live now, is an awesome place!

What is your favorite book recommendation?

I usually prefer to read articles rather than books. However, I really liked the Harry Potter series. I think that’s because I loved the idea that the plot lives side-by-side with the real world.

Why are you in Tech?

That’s a great question that I don’t think I’ve ever given a real thought to. I think that my life kind of led me in this direction because I always looked for innovative solutions to problems, and also, the thing that makes me really happy is seeing a client happy by using my solution.
