Terrorism Excused, Israel Accused
Why Do So Many Ignore Hamas Atrocities and Demonize Israel
“How can anyone…anyone with a conscience sympathize with Hamas?”
How can people justify support for a terror group that kidnaps civilians, tortures hostages, hides behind children, and celebrates slaughter?
How can they cheer for the butchers of October 7, 2023, while turning their backs on innocent Israelis who were raped, murdered, and dragged into Gaza?
And yet, here we are. Pro-Hamas marches flood Western streets. The media runs sympathetic headlines about “resistance.” University students chant for “intifada” and hang Hamas flags with pride. It’s not just disturbing, it’s dangerous
The Power of Propaganda
Let’s be clear: Hamas is not winning a military war. It is winning an information war.
It has weaponized social media with graphic imagery and emotionally manipulative content. It uses civilian deaths as PR strategy, embedding its fighters and weapons in homes, hospitals, and schools, then showing the aftermath when Israel responds.
Global media, in many cases, falls right into the trap. They amplify every destroyed building, every casualty, without mentioning that the building hid a weapons factory or that Hamas fired first. Meanwhile, Israeli victims are buried in silence, or labeled part of the “cycle of violence.”
This isn’t journalism. It’s complicity
A World of Double Standards
Where else but in Israel is a nation expected to apologize for surviving?
No other country, facing rocket fire and terrorist attacks, is told to “de-escalate.” No other democracy is condemned for defending its people. And yet, when Israel responds to terror, it is accused of “genocide,” “ethnic cleansing,” and worse, by the very people who refuse to acknowledge the open genocidal intentions of Hamas.
The Anti-Zionist Mask
Behind much of this one-sided outrage lies a deeper rot: a refusal to accept Jewish self-determination.
For some, anti-Zionism is simply antisemitism rebranded. Israel is hated not for what it does, but for what it is: a Jewish state. The Jewish people are the only minority told they have no right to a homeland, no right to self-defense, and no right to mourn their dead.
Ask yourself: if any other people were bombarded by rockets, would the world demand they stay silent?
The Truth They Don’t Want to See
Here’s what many refuse to acknowledge:
Israel left Gaza in 2005. There is no occupation there.
Hamas responded by turning Gaza into a terror base, building tunnels, firing thousands of rockets, and declaring jihad.
Israel provides aid, electricity, medical support even during war. Hamas steals it and uses it for weapons.
Hamas’s own charter calls for the murder of Jews and the destruction of Israel. It doesn’t want a two-state solution. It wants no Israel at all.
Those marching for “Palestinian liberation” often don’t realize or don’t care that they’re marching for Hamas rule: a regime that executes dissenters, bans LGBTQ+ people, subjugates women, and trains children for martyrdom.
The Dangerous Moral Blindness
When Israelis are slaughtered, the world says “it’s complicated.”
When Palestinians die, often because Hamas put them in the line of fire, the world cries “massacre.”
This isn’t activism. It’s moral inversion. And it emboldens terrorists while betraying every value the West claims to uphold.
The international silence about hostages still held in Gaza, some raped, starved, and tortured for months, is deafening. These aren’t just Israeli citizens. They are humans. Yet their suffering is ignored because it doesn’t fit the preferred narrative.
Wake Up
If you support human rights, you cannot support Hamas.
If you value freedom, democracy, and life you must stand with Israel.
This isn’t a war between colonizers and the colonized. This is a war between civilization and barbarism, between a flawed democracy trying to protect life, and a terrorist regime built on death.
History will not judge kindly those who chose to side with the butchers over the victims.
