The Cosmos Mother Does Not Forget Her Children

( Reflections on the Haftorah for Ekev)

(Isaiah 49 14- 51 :3)

The Cosmos Mother does not forget her children

Through chastisement, punishment, travails, challenges.

Security of the Mother’s arms remain.

When will the rescue arrive, when all are ready.

To live in unity with diversity

Requires taking responsibility for all.

Separateness lacks maturity.

The Mother waits for her adult children to be,

Who they must be, for the promised home to be rebuilt.

For it not to be destroyed as in the past.

A home for it to last, must have a mast

For direction with intention for family life.

Are we ready to receive the home prepared,

For us to take occupancy for which Mother awaits?

The space is reserved from the origin of time.

Celebration to the music of the ages

Has the Cosmos Conductor with baton in hand.
