The Gospel of the Divine Mother – II
The manifestations of the Divine Mother come to change our life on all levels of Being. To facilitate this change, we have to open ourselves to her celestial vibrations and develop the spiritual qualities and virtues which she personifies. This is the way in which we will implement the Gospel of the Divine Mother in our lives. Some of the most important characteristics of the Divine Mother are her love, care and support for all forms of life. All Life in the Universe is One and the Divine Mother gives birth to and nurtures this Life. The Divine Mother’s love is unconditional, without discrimination, constant, unchanging – all living beings are her “children,” so we have to love and appreciate them as the Divine Mother does.
An extremely important task in our epoch is to develop respect, love, care and appreciation for Nature, the environment and our planet Earth. After all, we are children of Nature and we live on Earth which provides us with all that we need for our life and spiritual evolution. It is not by chance that we call the Earth “Mother Earth” – it is a manifestation of the Divine Mother who, through Nature, takes care of her children.
When we think about our earthly mothers we associate them with unconditional love, tenderness, compassion, constant care, sacrifice, help, support and many other virtues. Through these virtues our mothers are channelling and manifesting the celestial presence of the universal Divine Mother. In order to bring the reality of the Kingdom of God down on Earth, we have to develop these spiritual virtues of the Divine Mother and to express them towards all human beings.
The Gospel of the Divine Mother teaches us to live in purity, simplicity, modesty, love and harmony. The true spiritual life is the pure and wholesome style of life. Only by practicing this style of life will we be able to appreciate and enjoy the fruits which grow in the Garden of Paradise. In fact, these fruits are the spiritual essence of all existing forms of life. This is the food with which the Divine Mother nourishes the true sons and daughters of G-d.
The Gospel of the Divine Mother will raise our moral standards to a very high level. How could we experience her Divine love and blessings if we practice low sexual attitudes, promiscuity, violence, disloyalty, irresponsibility and other negative patterns. In a similar way as human beings look for fresh food, pure water and clear air, they have to cultivate, too, noble ethics and high moral standards. Only in such an atmosphere can the Divine life grow and bear ripe spiritual fruits. The task of creating our individual life as a Divine Temple is practically impossible without rebuilding our family life as a Temple as well. It is obvious that in contemporary society the institution of the family is in deep crisis and only the Divine Mother can rebuild, strengthen, spiritualize and make it holy again.
Let me give you an example of the family life in our time. Analyzing the crisis in the contemporary family, the Master Beinsa Douno distinguished three types of families – celestial, earthly and hellish. The celestial type of family, quite rare on Earth, is one where the husband and wife live in great love, harmony, mutual understanding and friendship. Their life together is like a journey in the Garden of Paradise. The earthly type of family is one where the husband and the wife live in the world of struggling polarities – they love each other but still argue and “battle.” They experience many ups and downs, keeping, however, a dynamic balance in their family life. The earthly type of family is the most common in our epoch. It serves as a great spiritual school for the couple: they have to learn many lessons in life by developing tolerance, mutual respect, genuine friendship, sharing responsibility, patience and support through one of the closest and most intimate relationships between human beings. In the third type of family, the hellish one, the husband and the wife are in constant war: they argue incessantly, they struggle and divide, they express mainly negative emotions towards each other and finally they embark on the painful path of separation. Sadly, in our time the number of these type of families increases dramatically and undermines the very foundation of the institution of the Family.
The celestial task of the Divine Mother in this field is enormous. Through her invisible spiritual presence and through the followers of her Gospel, the vibrations of the Divine Mother will penetrate to the core of family life. The main tendency will be to bring each one of the family types to a new level, that is to transform the hellish type into an earthly one, to elevate the earthly type into a celestial family and to initiate the celestial type into a Holy Family. Thus, the Divine Mother will reduce the number of hellish families significantly; she will establish Divine peace, love, harmony and mutual understanding in most of the earthly types of family; as to the members of the celestial type of family, she will initiate them into the mystery of the Holy Family as one of the highest degrees of initiation. The Divine Mother will also introduce some new structures of family life where although the parents, and especially the mother, will keep a very strong intimate connection with the children, society in general and the spiritual community in particular, will take care about the raising and the education of the children.
The Kingdom of God will come down on Earth only when we transform and illuminate our daily life. The inspirer of this spiritual task is the Divine Mother. She is the One who transforms matter and permeates all forms of life with the vibrations of the Holy Spirit. Through the Gospel of the Divine Mother, we will learn to pay attention to the smallest details in our daily life – the food, the clothes, the house, even our daily routines. The Gospel of the Divine Mother requires a new type of relationship in all areas of life – the family, the neighborhood, society – filled with deep existential meaning and spiritual significance.
It is hard to imagine the manifestation of the Divine Mother without the concept of beauty. The human beings, Nature, the Earth, the whole Universe are exceedingly beautiful. If the first wonder of Creation is that it comes into existence through God’s Love, then the second wonder is that the Universe is like a symphony of beauty and shines with all colours of the Divine Rainbow. The Gospel of the Divine Mother brings beauty to all aspects of life so that our life may radiate not only righteousness, virtues, ethics, wisdom but beauty as well. Here, the concept of beauty is not incidental, but an essential spiritual characteristic – the other side of the “coin” of Divine Love.
We could continue the enumeration of spiritual qualities and virtues on which the Gospel of the Divine Mother will focus: fertility and abundance, generosity in giving and economical use of resources and others. Let us emphasize, however, that the Divine Mother, as a true Mother of her children, combines the blessings with requirements, the mercy with rigor, and freedom with necessary restrictions. She will warn us about any improper action, feeling or thought and we have to listen and obey. In fact, her rigor is just the other side of her blessings and it is directed towards our well-being and proper spiritual evolution.
The universal masculine and feminine principles and their Divine Wedding can be seen through the perspective of various archetypal polarities. Above we described the celestial work of the Divine Spirit, emanating from Hokhmah, and the Divine Mother, emanating from Binah, mainly from the point of view of the archetypal polarity subjective-objective. We could specify the celestial work of the Divine Spirit and the Divine Mother through another important archetypal polarity – that of the relationship between the Universal Spirit and the Universal Soul. This archetype opens an enormous field for interpretation of the celestial work of the Divine Spirit and the Divine Mother on all hierarchical levels – from the relationship between the soul and the spirit within the human being, through the relationship between the National Soul and the National Spirit-Guide, to the relationship between the Universal Soul and the Universal Spirit. This archetypal polarity also gives us vital keys to the mystery of the Divine Wedding on all levels of Being.
We could summarize that the Gospel of the Divine Mother is to bring the Kingdom of God down on Earth and to build life on all levels of Being as a Divine Temple. Above we discussed the mystery of the Divine Wedding through the archetype subjective – objective and we mentioned another possible archetype soul – spirit as a basis for reflection and meditation. We could also see the Divine Wedding through many other archetypes and opposing categories, such as inner and outer, individual and collective, active and receptive. So, in Holy Communions with the Divine Mother, we could collaborate with her for purification, transformation and illumination of the noosphere of humankind, and we could co-create with her for the formation of the New Reality.
