The ICC is history
The ICC’s decision to issue warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant means that the ICC is likely destined to be relegated to the dustbin of history. Gone. Kaput. Together with the other antisemites of history.
A prosecutor (who is now facing an investigation for alleged misconduct) presented evidence that what? That Israel (attacked by Hamas) was defending itself. The way every country would defend itself. The way the US and its allies defended themselves in World War Two, after 9/11, against Isis, and so on.
So what did the ICC want Israel to do? Turn the other cheek? Only Israel? No other country is expected to turn the other cheek?
And as for civilian casualties, what about the 400,000 civilian deaths during U.S. action in the years after 9/11?
And reportedly Israel has done more than any other country in the history of warfare, to try to avoid civilian casualties.
So it’s blatant hatred for Jews.
And the UN Security Council tried to pass a resolution demanding that Israel ceasefire, without making it conditional on the release of hostages. The U.S. vetoed it.
The U.S. criticized the ICC for issuing warrants against the Israeli leaders, and there are now discussions regarding how to deal with the ICC. The incoming leader of the U.S. Senate said earlier this week, that if the ICC issues the warrants, the Senate will sanction the court.
Antisemites are endorsing the ICC ruling. But their rejoicing will be short-lived. Israel is becoming a rising superpower. Countries have been helpless to stop Israel from fighting Hamas this past year. Terrorists in the Middle East are now an endangered species. Antisemites across the globe are fighting a lost battle.
Justice and truth will triumph. G-d is on this side.
Redemption with Moshiach seems imminent. The march to a world of peace and tranquility and awareness of G-d Almighty is going strong.
May we see the ultimate Redemption very soon.
