After decades of threatening to wipe Israel off the map, Iran’s supreme dictator has come out explaining that it has always been against violence against Israel and that it always was for a peaceful solution to the Middle East conflict.
All non-democratic states are known for rewriting history. The Soviet Union was especially infamous for it. While politicians the world over almost all have weak integrity skills, US democratically elected President Trump beats them all and seems to regard making fake news a talent and virtue. It gave him the presidency.
Yet, all naive people in the West need to read the new claim that Iran was always and still is working by peaceful methods only, regarding Israel. That may teach them what degree of falsehood a tradition of lying is capable of.
Now, don’t get me wrong. A culture of honesty is no guarantee of truthfulness’ reign. The Netherlands values honesty as almost nothing else. Still, its jails are full of thieves and no one believes its politician.
Still, Westerners will not be able to imagine that people are capable to come in front of a camera and cry about an innocent family member (baby) brutally murdered by Israeli soldiers, while in fact the person died peacefully in hospital of an infectious disease, was shot by their own terrorists to become a martyr or was on terrorist duty when shot.
Hezbollah has tens of thousands of rockets aimed at Israel. The junta of Gaza uses all resources, which really belong to its starving citizens, to attack Israel. These murderers are only still around because Iran finances them. But Iran is against violence. My foot.
Hundreds of news recordings exist of Iranian dictators, including the sitting ones, insisting that it will kill all of Israel. To stop being naive, read the new declaration that Iran towards Israelis only peaceful.
BTW, the Iranian leader’s peaceful solution is a piece of dishonesty in itself. Let’s hold a referendum among all the people who lived in the Middle East a hundred years ago and their offspring about what to do with the region. The outcome is as certain as asking Nazis what to do with the Jews. Or a US white mob what to do with this “nigger,” less than a century ago. If he was lynched, was that not democratic – every vote counted?!
The vast majority of Arabs, like the vast majority of Christians before the Holocaust, has a problem with the Jews that has nothing to do with the State of Israel — or the Jews. The Holocaust has taught the West a few things about its Jew-hatred, but the Muslim world, in general, has not learned this lesson yet.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu goes on, separating the Iranian dictators from the Iranian People, the latter always having been good to the Jews. Just as I advised him in a private letter a few years ago. I’m proud of him.
