Recognizing a Palestinian State? A Reward for Terror, A Mistake for the World

More and more countries are jumping on the bandwagon of recognizing a Palestinian state. To many, that sounds like justice. In truth, it’s insanity. It’s not about helping the Palestinian people, it’s about rewarding terror and rewriting history.

Let’s go back to where it all began.

History Doesn’t Lie: Israel Was Always Meant to Be

In 1920, after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the League of Nations divided up its former territories. A homeland was promised to the Jewish people,  a people indigenous to the land, persecuted for centuries, and finally returning home.

The Arabs? They were already given their vast share; the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, carved from 77% of the original British Mandate for Palestine. Let’s be clear: the term “Palestinian” was never historically associated with Arabs. In fact, before 1948, it was the Jews who were called Palestinians. The Jerusalem Post was originally The Palestine Post. The Palestinian Symphony Orchestra? All Jewish musicians.

The myth of a historic Arab nation called “Palestine” is just that, a political invention born after Arab leaders realized that military invasions failed to erase Israel from the map.

Israel Chose Peace and The Arabs Chose War

Israel has always sought peace. Again and again, it made painful sacrifices. In 2005, Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza, dismantled thriving Jewish communities, and gave Palestinians full control. That was the moment the world could have witnessed the birth of a new Singapore in the Middle East, prosperity, innovation, coexistence.

Instead, Hamas took over. Billions in international aid were funneled not into schools or hospitals, but into rockets, terror tunnels, and indoctrination. Thousands of missiles rained down on Israeli cities. Children lived in bomb shelters. And the world said… nothing.

Then came October 7th, a date now etched into history alongside the darkest acts of human cruelty. Babies murdered, women raped, entire families slaughtered. Not by a rogue fringe but celebrated, filmed, glorified by those seeking international recognition.

And now, the international community’s response? Reward the murderers with a state.

Arab States in Chaos and Yet the World Still Doesn’t Learn

Look around the Middle East. For over two decades, Arab nations have been in flames. Syria’s civil war left half a million dead. Iraq, once stabilized, fell into chaos under sectarian war. Libya became a failed state. Lebanon is a puppet of Hezbollah. Yemen is drowning in civil conflict.

This region has been plagued not by the presence of Israel, but by its absence in governance, human rights, and innovation. While Israel builds tech hubs and provides humanitarian aid worldwide, these regimes spread terror, suppress women, and destroy dissent.

And now the world wants to create another failed state on Israel’s borders?

A state not built on peace, but on jihad. Not on democracy, but on sharia. Not on coexistence, but on the dream of erasing Israel.

Let’s Speak the Truth: A Palestinian State Today Is a Threat to the World

It’s hard to say out loud, but it must be said: another Palestinian state, born from the ashes of terrorism, would not bring peace, it would bring blood. It would embolden extremists, destabilize the region further, and send a clear message: violence works.

Is this really what the international community wants to reward? Is this the precedent we want to set?

Israel is not perfect. No country is. But it is the only democracy in the Middle East, the only place where Arabs and Jews serve together in parliament, where LGBTQ+ rights exist, where women have full equality, where innovation lifts the world.

A Palestinian state today, in its current form, under its current leadership, is not a solution. It is a death sentence for peace.

Let us not be naive. Let us not betray truth for popularity. Let us stand with Israel, not just because it is right, but because the alternative is a world where terror is legitimized, and truth is buried beneath propaganda.

Stand with Israel. Stand with truth. Stand against rewarding terror with a state.

About the Author
CEO of Time to Stand Up for Israel, a nonprofit organization with a powerful mission: to support Israel and amplify its voice around the world. With over 200,000 followers across various social media platforms, our community is united by a shared love for Israel and a deep commitment to her future. My journey as an advocate for Israel began early. When I was 11 years old, my father was deployed to the Middle East through his work with UNTSO. I had the unique experience of living in both Syria and Israel, and from a young age, I witnessed firsthand the contrast in cultures and realities. That experience shaped me profoundly. Returning to the Netherlands, I quickly became aware of the growing wave of anti-Israel sentiment — and I knew I had to speak out. Ever since, I’ve been a fierce and unapologetic supporter of Israel. I’m not religious, but my belief is clear and unwavering: Israel has the right to exist, and Israel has the duty to defend herself. My passion is rooted in truth, love, and justice. I’m a true Zionist at heart. From my first breath to my last, I will stand up for Israel.
