Three steps to reach infinite blessings

NASA Hubble Space Telescope

We know that everything in the Bible is precise to the letter, everything has a purpose, and nothing is superfluous. But in the Book of Exodus, we see much repetition regarding the building of the Tabernacle. Why is that so?

So much time is spent on the Tabernacle, where God would be served because it represents the purpose of God creating the entire universe! According to the books of mysticism, the great goal in life is to take all we are and all we have and make it a dwelling place for God, a tabernacle of sorts where God would be comfortable. How do we know where God is pleased to dwell? This is a crucial question with a very critical answer.

This is the explanation for the long-winded description of the building of this meeting house.

Incidentally, once God did descend into this special meeting place, everything in this compound was connected to supernatural miracles. The measurement of the ark took up no space, the fire on the altar always burned straight up to heaven, the bread stayed fresh and warm for an entire week, and much more. When God is there, everything becomes possible, and the rules of nature are expanded and suspended.

The Bible first tells us God’s instructions and what is necessary for building this abode for him. Next, after the commandments from God, we have the effort and action on the part of the people to follow through with those instructions. Then we have the finale: “And the cloud (Divine presence) covered the meeting tent, and the honor of God filled the Tabernacle.”

So, we have three distinct steps when connecting with God:

First, the command must come from God.
As much as a person meditates, screams, or does whatever self-initiated “good,” it is impossible for a finite human being on his own to reach the infinite. To be connected with God, the act must be initiated by God, who, for reasons only He knows, decided to take note of these specific actions He commands of a human being. We must look for what God wants us to do to connect with His will and blessings.

Step number two is to follow through with God’s instructions.
When God asks us to do something, He knows we can carry out the request, and it is for our good. Fulfilling God’s commandments is our only way to connect with the source of all life.

Step number three is not always guaranteed by, our timetable. This final step is when God reacts to our actions and responds as He promised.

The idea that people alone can accomplish anything just because is ludicrous. Human beings are limited and have very little control over their environment. Just look at what is going on in the world today… People get fired, gas prices rise, and wars start….. How about those people born with faulty genes, with crazy parents, or in countries where there is no freedom?

When you are given lemons, learn to make lemon margaritas. What happens when all you have is a lemon? The only way to happiness, blessings, and infinite possibilities is to discover what God wants from you. Through this connection, you find meaning, purpose, a relationship with the infinite God, and real possibilities to change and improve your circumstances. Through this attachment to God, one may find all goodness and blessings!
