To Remain One People

At an army gathering to celebrate the upcoming festival of Passover, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said:

“We are fighting for our security and our freedom. Without the IDF and our security forces the State of Israel would not exist. For there to be a State, we need to remain united and preserve our ability to defend ourselves against those who would destroy us.”

Netanyahu is so right! That is why you can’t call those who disagree with you: “lefties” or “traitors”, or suggest that they don’t know what it means to be Jewish. That is not the way to preserve the unity of the Jewish People, but rather to divide it.

It is time for Bibi to ask himself what his legacy will be. Will he go down in history as one of Israel’s greatest prime ministers, or will he be remembered as the politician who destroyed Israel, because he was prepared to sacrifice his country for his personal interests?

Bibi is no youngster. He is already in his seventies. The time has come for him to ask himself how he wants to be remembered.
