Two Sides

**One side experienced an unprovoked slaughter of 1,200 of its citizens while the other planned, executed, filmed and celebrated it. Guess which side endures the world’s wrath?

**One side found creative ways to shield its people, the other creative ways to use its people as shields.

**One side turned shards of rockets fired at its citizens into functional ornaments. The other repurposed pipes and concrete into destructive weapons.

**One side is continually held responsible for the safety of both its own residents and those of its enemy. The other flagrantly ignores responsibility for either.

**One side is taught the preciousness of life. The other glorifies martyrdom.

**One side values its dead, going to great lengths to recover their bodies. The other doesn’t even respect its living, placing them in harm’s way to control the narrative.

**One side names streets and thoroughfares after renowned biblical figures, the other after infamous suicide bombers.

**One side exports medical and technological innovations to advance the world. The other imports RPG’s, IED’s and other weaponry to advance itself.

**One side proactively responds to natural disasters across the globe to save lives, the other creates artificial disasters to take them.

**One side uses hospitals to restore life, the other to store weapons.

Guess which side is often compared with Nazis?

**One side has been relentlessly vilified, condemned and treated as a pariah state by the UN. The other was awarded a dedicated agency.

**One side built shelters to protect its men, women and children while the other built tunnels to protect its fighters. Guess which side has been labeled as evil?

**One side holds the largest annual gay pride parade in the Middle East while the other is known to punish gays through persecution and violence. Guess which side is condemned during global LGBTQ marches?

**One side – the democracy – had its every word questioned, its every action scrutinized by the media, while the other – the terrorist group – was the press’ go-to source for everything from food deprivation to casualty figures. Guess which side is accused of controlling the media?

**Supporters of one side participated in orderly marches, proudly waving American and Israeli flags while supporters of the other vandalized property, blocked traffic, and treated American flags with contempt. Guess which side has its loyalties questioned?

**One nation, Israel, tiny in size, used its military to ensure a terrorist group would never again be able to slaughter its citizens after a barbaric attack. Another nation, Russia, massive in size, used its military to commit a brutal, unprovoked land grab against its democratic neighbor. Guess which nation faced angry campus protests for its actions by “enlightened” professors and students?

**One side built the only 9/11 memorial outside the United States which honored the names of every single victim. The other was filmed by wire services publicly celebrating the attack. Guess which side is viewed more favorably by young Americans?

**One side was accused of occupying another’s land by masked students and outside agitators who brazenly occupied campus buildings.

**One side has often been charged with financially controlling the U.S. while the other – led by Qatar, China and Saudi Arabia – has spent billions over decades methodically buying influence over American universities.

**One side has had an uninterrupted presence in its land for over 3,000 years and is called a colonizer. The other arrived well over a millennium later and is viewed as the native.

**One side is called genocidal despite opening humanitarian corridors, dropping warning leaflets, messaging civilians to evacuate dangerous areas and allowing in more truckloads of food and supplies to an enemy population than any other nation in recorded history. The other is dubbed as “resistance fighters” after raping, slaughtering and mutilating civilians at will.

**One side, in coordination with the World Health Organization, paused its war efforts both in late 2024 and early 2025 to allow over 600,000 Gazan children under the age of ten to be vaccinated against polio, yet are relentlessly called “genocidal baby killers” by malign actors on the other side who propagandize the uninformed.

**One side is plagued by a bizarre 5th column Jewish movement who, though small in number, are loud, hateful and devoid of any empathy following the savage attack endured by their co-religionists. There is no such aberration on the other side.

**One side – the one who “controls the media” – is endlessly vilified by it, facing repeated false claims on social media often blindly parroted by mainstream outlets and strategically amplified by malign foreign actors in an attempt to win the hearts and minds of the next generation, while the other side enjoys all the fruits of those efforts.

**One side has endured two decades of unprovoked rocket attacks from a territory it willingly abandoned – traumatizing its citizens – yet is labeled an oppressor. The other carried out those attacks with the overwhelming approval of its citizens yet is viewed as oppressed.

**One side – “the oppressors” – are harassed, intimidated, threatened and must regularly weigh the consequences of outwardly displaying their religious affiliation both on the streets and in academia. The other enjoys the unfettered privileges of “the oppressed,” loudly flaunting their status and shutting down free speech.

**One side, which comprises just 0.2% of its region’s land and is the only Jewish majority country in the world, faces relentless calls to carve out a chunk of its territory so that a 50th Muslim majority country, one bent on Israel’s destruction, can be created.

**One side counts nearly two million Muslims within its borders; citizens who vote, serve in government, enjoy the same beaches, receive the same healthcare benefits, and work at the same hospitals as their Jewish counterparts, yet is labeled an apartheid state. The other wants the entire territory “from the river to the sea” to be free of Jews yet receives scant pushback.

**Still, one side – despite the onslaught of grifter influencers, newscasters who accuse first, fact-check later, politicians whose convictions change with the wind, cultural and academic elites who leverage what’s fashionable, foreign agitators who wish to weaken western alliances, pliable masses devoid of critical thinking and algorithms and bots which serve to magnify this witches brew of falsehoods and misrepresentation – continues to survive and thrive and grow stronger, much to the consternation of the other side.
