Turmeric spice is used for years in Asian, Thai and Indian cooking, The spice is unique and stands out for a yellow-orange color. This distinctive curry spice stands out in flavor and color. I use Pereg spices because I like to buy from companies tied to Israel.
When my customers ask me about natural foods they can use in their recipes I think of Turmeric spice, because it is not only used for flavorful dishes. Indian woman have been using Turmeric for centuries as a skincare ingredient.
The benefits of Turmeric in skincare include several anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness and calm irritations from Rosacea. Do you have Dark Circles under your eyes? Turmeric can help lighten your skin tone for your eyes and even out skin pigmentation all over your face.
Mask for Home:
Heat up a teaspoon of honey for 15 seconds .
Combine honey and a teaspoon of Turmeric in a dish. Add a teaspoon of Greek yogurt . Mix these three ingredients well .
Use a spatula to apply the mask to your face, or gloves (using your fingers can cause them to stain yellow) .
Leave on for 25 minutes , it will harden & appear dry.
Rinse off using warm water in a circular motion . This will benefit your skin exfoliating process too .
The Turmeric mask will minimize your pores, smooth your skin, make your skin appear fuller and plumper.
A holistic approach bi using Turmeric in a drink .
Two cups boiled water
A half teaspoon Turmeric
Stir & cover
Simmer for ten minutes
Filter through tea strainer
Reap in the benefits, sip & enjoy

Pereg has many great products that I use in my recipes everyday and especially during the High Holidays. I incorporate many spices into my favorite dishes.
I add a spoon of Tumeric to my meats for more taste, while pepper and salt is a everyday staple in my kitchen cooking. By far my most favorites are the Pereg Panko Crumbs. My family and guests enjoy my scrumptious crunchy chicken cutlets. I add a spoon of Turmeric, to give it that punch in flavor.
Schnitzel Recipe
1. 10 pieces chicken tenders
2. Three eggs mixed well
3. A half cup flour
4. Two cups Pereg Fine Panko Crumbs
5. A teaspoon of Tumeric spice mixed with crumbs .
6 . Heat one cup of canola oil in frying pan , reduce on medium . Dip the chicken tenders in flour to coat it . Dip into the egg batter , then the Panko crumbs . All ready now fry them on each side for 3 minutes till golden brown . Enjoy your Crunchy Schnitzel! Have A Happy & Healthy New Year!
