Winning the war
We are seeing many victories these days. Terrorist commanders and leaders are being liquidated. Hamas is disappearing. A major port in Yemen was bombed, scaring Houthis and their Iranian sponsors. Netanyahu spoke powerfully to Congress, explaining that Israel is defending the US and the world. Biden (no longer in need of Arab and extreme left-wing votes) has not been criticizing Israel. Austin just called Gallant to tell him that the US will defend Israel if Hezbollah attacks.
Arab leaders are keenly aware that Israel’s war on terror benefits them. Indeed when Iran attacked Israel with many missiles and drones, numerous Arab states allied with Western efforts to neutralize the attack.
Defying world pressure for a ceasefire, Netanyahu and his government continue to destroy Hamas. Many world leaders have pushed for a Palestinian state, but Netanyahu’s government said no, as the danger of giving away land has become very clear.
A court just ordered UCLA to come up with a plan to protect Jewish students. Congress is applying pressure to colleges to stop antisemitism, and Western leaders have spoken out strongly against hatred.
After seeing the true faces of their former “friends,” many Jews have been returning to their Jewish roots. And despite debates and disagreements, the Jewish people are now strongly aware of the need to be united.
We are seeing how the Jewish people have awakened and are very in tune to doing what G-d wants, to be proud of their Jewish identity, to unite, to defend the land of Israel, and to come closer to G-d and His Torah. And as this happens, it has opened wide channels to receive the Almighty’s blessings, with Israeli victories, with the US helping Israel, and with other world leaders seemingly resigned to Israel’s determination to strongly defend itself.
Israel is winning. Those against the Jews and their G-d are losing. The nations are becoming increasingly aware that G-d is protecting His people. We are coming very close to the time of Redemption, when the world will be peaceful, and “no nation will lift a sword against another nation,” (Isaiah2; 4) “for the entire world will be filled with knowledge of G-d, just as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11; 9)
May it happen very soon.
