Yes, A Palestinian Occupation

An official press release of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation was rather unfortunately worded.  Or rather quite fortunately, actually, however unintended.

It reads:

End to Palestinian Occupation Needs Clear Plan

It should have been obvious to them that just like “Palestinian” is used to describe their ‘liberation organization’ as being of an Arab of Palestine character, it is also describing the noun ‘occupation’.

Indeed, there is a “Palestinian” occupation but of Eretz-Yisrael, the Land of Israel, that territory which is, through the Jewish people’s historic connection with it, the national homeland of the Jews.  That is what was decided 95 years ago in the League of Nations:

recognition has thereby been given to the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country

Our land was invaded in the 7th century by marauders from the Arabian peninsula, violently spreading a new doctrine.  Those hordes conquered, killed and occupied Eretz-Yisrael.  They maintained that illegal occupation against Crusaders and others until 1917 but again, an Arab illegal occupation was conducted for 19 years by the Hashemites between 1948-1967.

The PLO and in its latest guise, the Palestinian Authority, seeks to continue to occupy Jewish land.

We are reclaiming it.  We are revenant residents in it.

The Palestinian occupation will come to an end.
