A Christian perspective: The Holocaust then and now is not a hallucination

Hallucinate is the 2023 word of the year chosen by Dictionary.com. With the surge of artificial intelligence, the wordsmiths connected hallucinate to the machine learning program which can produce both facts and lies. Anti-Israel individuals and institutions are disseminating false information and then massively promoting it as fact. AI’s timely use is escalating propaganda by turning words into weapons which act like a hostile hallucinogenic drug which is already deforming millions of minds globally.

Israel is not only fighting for its existence on land, sea, and air. It is fighting the information warfare of lies. The Iran-backed October 7 Holocaust attempt is now seared into Jewish minds and hearts here on the eve of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27. The WWII Holocaust and the genocidal purposes of Hamas were inseparably iron-clad on October 7, 2023.

Incredibly, suggestions of a two-state solution whether by the US, Europe, or Arab countries, are emerging. These “solutions” are a hallucination, un-reality. On January 20th Khaled Mash’al a Senior Hamas official exclaimed, “We are NOT interested in a two-state solution…there should be only ONE state, a Palestinian state, from the river to the sea, and from the north of Israel to its south.” From its inception, the Hamas founding charter has not changed: “The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight Jews and kill them.” World leaders must realize that Israel has never had a sincere peace partner with Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority. It is a waste of time, an insult to Israel. In the south we colloquially call it, “beating a dead horse” desperately hoping it will live again.

During the Nazi’s WWII genocidal Holocaust, the regime murdered six million Jews before AI existed. It only required Hitler’s satanic mind occupied with evil to hypnotize Germans through media run by his Reich Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels. Yes, Goebbels official title, Minister of Lies. Goebbels was mentored by Hitler who observed, “By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise.”
Our “Goebbels” today are left wing mainstream media who omit context, believe, and report as fact every Hamas quote and statistic. I hold them highly responsible for the outbreak of massive hatred globally.

In fact, much of the world did not know the extent of evil in WWII until American General Dwight D. Eisenhower ordered photographic evidence of the concentration camps and the survivors when liberated in 1945. Eisenhower revealed, “The visual evidence and the verbal testimony of starvation, cruelty and bestiality were so overpowering as to leave me a bit sick … I made the visit deliberately to give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to “propaganda.”

After Eisenhower and the Allies encountered thousands of Jewish prisoners who survived, the forward-thinking General directed General George C. Marshall to bring members of congress, other Generals, and media to see for themselves. They came, they wrote, and they published the photos. In this photo a group with General Eisenhower and General George C. Marshall observed one of the Nazi methods of torture. Almost eighty years later, despite the photographic evidence, Holocaust denial and/or its twisted versions grew acceptable over time. Even with massive amounts of evidence from Hamas itself, seen by hundreds of media, international leaders, and members of congress, too many in our world are believing the lies, among them that Hamas did not invade Israel on October 7, 2023 or that they had a right to do so. The renowned prophet in Isaiah 5:20 explains that we are living is an era where “good is called evil, and evil is called good.”

As another past example, Mahmoud Abbas completed his dissertation in 1982 in the former Soviet Union. He called his doctoral thesis “The Relationship between Zionists and Nazis, 1933-1945” alleging that Nazis and Zionists shared a close connection about racial superiority; Aryan for the Nazis, Jewish for the Zionist. Abbas accused Jews in pre-state Israel of collaborating with Nazis in the Holocaust. Today, warped narratives like these motivate minds filled with the hallucinogenic drug of hatred.

Propaganda proliferates from governments, saboteurs, mainstream media, United Nations, and demonstrators busy writing another sinister chapter of Jew Hatred which resurfaced only a few days after October 7, 2023. One of the most shocking and offensive lies is that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

Unlike General Eisenhower’s order for photographs after the fact of the Holocaust, Nazi Hamas triumphantly took photos of their brutality in real time on October 7 with their body cams and on the mobile phones stolen from Jewish victims.
Christians, it is my prayer that as you read the next story you will use it as a reality check to determine just who is genocidal and pass it on to media, uninformed family, friends, and churches.

Last week mainstream media outlet CNN reported the confession of a Hamas terrorist who tried to sell the head of a decapitated IDF soldier for $10,000. Yes, from the mouth of the beast who cut off Cpl. Adir Tahar’s head, stuffed it in his backpack, and returned to Gaza planning to make money. That mainstream media CNN itself reported this atrocity should grab the attention of Jew Haters as a fact about the depths of evil manifesting in Hamas’s minds. CNN had also aired October 7th footage taken by the terrorists as they sawed the necks of dead Israelis. However, Jew Haters are still hallucinating on the drug of hate and lies.

Adir Tahar’s family story unfolded with David Tahar, the father of the nineteen-year-old murdered on October 7. He said that Adir’s body was confirmed by DNA tests and his identity tags. At Adir’s burial on Israel’s Mount Herzl military cemetery, David insisted on seeing his son in the coffin so that he would know he was only burying his son’s body. The bereaved dad made it his mission to bring wholenesss to his son. After spending two months watching hours upon hours of Hamas’s massacre videos which saboteurs proudly posted on social media, he identified his son’s body on one of the videos. Captured later, the vicious terrorist gave the location of an ice cream store where he put Adir’s head in a bag inside a freezer.

An elite IDF unit, backed up by tanks, entered central Gaza and retrieved Adir’s head, which was also abused. DNA and dental records verified Adir’s identity. David Tahar commented about his sacred quest, “It is an obvious miracle in my eyes that I can give him peace of mind and body.”

It is unimaginable what the IDF unit experienced themselves and more profoundly Adir’s dad as he suffered through a second burial earlier in January. To think that Israel Defense Forces, and the United States, is the most humane army in the world, and accused of conducting genocide against Gazans or any community is a one hundred percent irrational hallucination.

If history is an accurate indicator, the genocide label and other lies against Israel will continue. Nevertheless, amid the information warfare, it remains essential that we in the evangelical community do our part to pass on facts. Truth-telling, part of our own spiritual DNA, is birthed in Old and New Testaments and passed on to us through the Jews under God’s inspiration. If we ignore helpful ways to stand with Israel, we ourselves are part of the problem.
