A Jew that knows God is one, cannot be programmed

This is a hurtful topic for me. I am shocked at my fellow Jewish brothers and sisters who are completely disconnected and misinformed about the truth of Israel and the Jewish people. What is that truth? Are there many paths, roads, ideas, opinions and ongoing conversations? ABSOLUTELY. There are two truths that can never be challenged, and even if your spiritual journey looks different and feels different, if you are not on the same page, there is work to do.

1. From the Ten Commandments: I am Hashem your God, You shall not have other gods.
2. Israel and the Jewish people are one.

If a Jew does not understand this, they fall into the trap of standing up for everybody else except themselves, their family, and their people. There are so many lies, libels and tropes circulating, and if you do not come from deep roots and historical facts, it could be easy to be swept away.

One of my favorite warriors for Israel is Rudy Rochman. Make time to watch this whole debate, and how he calmly respects everybody’s perspective, yet stays clear on facts and reality. In our world of talking heads, there are very few voices of leadership and truth, Rudy represents all Jews. My Jewish brothers and sisters, please stop talking and start listening.

I just realized all the holiness happening on this Friday before Shabbat. First it is Pesach Sheini, literally a second chance to move forward, to participate and connect our holy soul with our creator. It is never too late, and no matter where you are now, you can choose to elevate, be a light and shine to inspire everyone around you.

It is the Yartzeit, memorial of Rabbi Meir Baal HaNess. Many people go to Tiberias to pray at his resting place. When you give your receive, so after giving to those less fortunate, people experience the answer to their prayers.

We are also counting the Omer, which is between Passover and Shavuot. Today is Chesed b’Hod. It is so powerful, because it is about surrendering to what is, and trusting you have done your part. However today, the first day of Hod is about Chesed, kindness and grace in surrender.

So let me get back to “A Jew that knows God is one, cannot be programmed.” I will start with this. Nobody can ever tell me what to do. With my family, friends, and professional life, we communicate and compromise, but I am always part of the process. Influenced, trained and roboticized, nope. NOT POSSIBLE. Hashem is in charge. God’s plan. Everything is in the hands of God. I know this, and nothing will shake this fact.

A connected Jew, is solid, and knows without a shadow of a doubt that he has a divine soul. Our purpose in this world is to elevate our animal soul, and not to get lost in it. The key is to surround yourself with community, purpose and learning Torah. Torah is the only truth, it has never changed, however the deep meaning is revealed to each person on their level.

If you feel lost, did not grow up with the knowledge of your ancestors, maybe now is a time to start the journey. Reach out to fellow Jews that you relate to, and start to ask questions.

The video I posted shows one man telling Rudy that he is well trained, and there goes another stereotype, that everybody is Mossad. It is not possible to program Rudy. It is not possible to program Yulia. It is not possible to program any Jew that loves themselves, knows who they are and where they came from.
