Americans Living in Israel ~ 2026 Midterm Election
Your vote might make a difference. Register today to make sure you can vote in your State’s Primary and the General Election on November 3, 2026. “Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting.” Franklin D. Roosevelt
Elections to the US Congress will take place on November 3, 2026 and primaries vary depending on state. All 435 districts in the US House of Representatives and 33 seats in the US Senate are up for election. Five of the Senate’s six non-voting members are also up for election.
Why we need to vote? Look what is happening right now in America. The growth of Antizionism and Antisemitism. States that have candidates who are anti-Israel:
- California 45th Congressional District California Democrat hosts CAIR leader who said ‘Israel should be attacked’ Leaders at the Council on American-Islamic Relations have touted the pro-Hamas group’s role in electing Democratic Rep. Derek Tran (Calif.) over a pro-Israel Republican in 2024. Now, Tran is giving the controversial group its own boost, hosting a group of CAIR leaders—including one who said “Israel should be attacked”—at his offices on Capitol Hill. Tran hosted Hussam Ayloush, the executive director of CAIR’s Los Angeles chapter, last week as part of “Muslim Advocacy Day,” an annual lobbying event organized by CAIR and other Islamist organizations.
- Florida 6th Congressional District – Influencer Dan Bilzerian, who’s running to fill Representative Randy Fine’s seat in Florida’s 6th congressional district, wrote on Instagram today, “I’m running for Congress in FL D6 against the fat Jew Randy Fine.” Bilzerian has a documented history of antisemitic statements, including spreading conspiracy theories about Jews, claiming Judaism is “terrible” and promotes supremacy, and questioning the Holocaust death toll. In one stream, he said he supports “exterminating Israel” and declared he “would sign up tomorrow and go put boots on the ground and go kill Israelis,” adding that he believes the majority of the country is evil.
- Michigan ~ Abdul El-Sayed, a US Senate candidate from Michigan, said in an interview aired Sunday that the Israeli government is as “evil” as Hamas, sharpening his criticism of Israel in the closely-watched Democratic primary.
- Maine – Elizabeth Warren says Hamas-praising Maine Democrat Graham Platner ‘has the values’ to serve in the Senate. He has been less apologetic for a tattoo of a Totenkopf—a skull and crossbones symbol used by the Nazi SS secret police force—that he sported on his chest for years and covered up toward the beginning of his campaign. Platner has argued that the tattoo is “an eminently reasonable thing” because he did not know what the symbol meant before running for Senate; Platner’s associates say he is a history buff who referred to the ink as “my Totenkopf.” Platner has not apologized, meanwhile, for his 2014 comment praising a Hamas raid that killed five Israeli soldiers.
- New York Andre Easton, a far-left, anti-Israel high school teacher and member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, is running as an independent in New York’s 15th Congressional District on a platform that goes beyond defeating the incumbent.

- Per Aljazeera – Senate vote on arms sale shows ‘massive cracks’ in US support for Israel Rights advocates hail a ‘historic’ shift as 40 out of 47 Democratic senators vote to block the transfer of military bulldozers to Israel.
- Time The Senate rejected a measure to block the sale of military equipment to Israel after seven Democrats joined Republicans in opposing the resolution in a 40–59 vote. The bill, a joint resolution introduced by Senator Bernie Sanders, would have halted the sale of military bulldozers to Israel.

We have the legal right to vote in America from overseas!! The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) and its later amendment, the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act (MOVE), are the cornerstone federal laws protecting the voting rights of US citizens living abroad and members of the military.
US citizens who were born abroad and have never resided in the United States: are eligible to vote absentee in thirty-eight states.
Your voting residence is your address in the state in which you were last domiciled, immediately prior to leaving the United States. This residence may remain valid even if:
- You no longer own property or have other ties to that state.
- Your intent to return to that state is uncertain.
- Your previous address is no longer a recognized residential address.
It is easy to register and request your ballot. Complete your form online https://www.fvap.gov/ REQUEST YOUR BALLOT TO BE EMAILED. FVAP’s easy online assistant at www.fvap.gov/FPCA can walk you through state-specific form completion. After you finish filling out the FPCA, print it, sign it, and send it to your election office. Most states accept the FPCA by email or fax while some require it by mail. Check your state-specific guidelines at FVAP.gov.
To find your state’s election website for specific information on candidates, elections, contact information, and links to your local election offices, visit FVAP.gov and select your state from the dropdown menu. You can also reach out directly to your election office for status updates on your registration and absentee ballot.
Every state is different, but it is suggested you follow-up to make sure your registration form was received and accepted. Go to https://www.fvap.gov/, select your state, click ”State Election Website”, then click “Voter Registration Search”.
Once you receive your requested absentee ballot, vote and return it as soon as you get it. Remember to carefully follow the instructions, especially using a “security envelope” if required, and sign the package as indicated when returning it. To save time, send voted ballots electronically if allowed by state law. Voters can check if their state accepts completed absentee ballots by email, fax, or via an online portal at FVAP.gov/guide.
Many states that require ballots to be mailed will accept one courier package with multiple individually sealed ballots addressed to the same election office. It is advised to contact your election office to verify that is acceptable. DHL-Israel is offering a 20% discount on anything sent from Israel to America. Code is USA20
If a requested ballot has not arrived, use the Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (FWAB) immediately at www.fvap.gov/FWAB. It works like a backup ballot. If your official absentee ballot arrives after sending in the FWAB, complete and send in the official ballot, too. Only one will be counted. To make sure the voted ballot is received by your state. Go to FVAP.gov, click on your state and then the “check the status of your voted ballot” button.
