Sarah Ansbacher is the author of eight books. Born in London, she made Aliyah with her family and is now based in Israel. Her storytelling draws from a deep interest in Jewish history, heritage, and culture, exploring themes of identity, resilience, and belonging.
Her latest work is a historical fiction trilogy following Jewish refugees who fled Nazi Europe via the Danube River in 1940 – a largely forgotten chapter of WWII history. Wave After Wave, the first book in the trilogy, brings these true stories to life through extensive archival research and conversations with those who experienced these events as children, or are the children of survivors. The sequel, Another Shore, was published earlier this year.
Her other works include Ayuni and Passage From Aden: Stories From A Little Museum In Tel Aviv, based on her time working at the Aden Jewish Heritage Museum.
